“We get a nice discount for shopping at Smith's off of our fuel. Ground usually clean near the pumps. Would be nice if there was a bathroom there. Price is very competitive”

They have more in the fresh options but we can't get past their chicken! This little market has saved me countless trips to the big stores, and Alfonso and Wendy are the so friendly. Love it!”
“usually i feel grimey when i go into gas station mini marts, however, this store is neat and organized. bathrooms are leagues above the stereotypical gas station bathrooms. they are actually clean and, dare i say, smell nice. staff is also friendly. front register clerk greeted me when i entered even though she was already busy helping someone else. i forgot her name otherwise i would give her a shout out.”

“This is a tiny shop with a fresh meat and produce and a wide selection of snacks and candy. They made fresh pico de gallo for me when I asked. You can't really get better service than that.”
“I cannot say enough about the folks that bought this store 10-12 years ago. Our sons went to school together, but more than that this is an immigrant family that came here for a better life. I watched the husband work everyday, open to close, for almost the entire time hey owned the store and have so much respect for him. Great store and great family members run business. Thank you for being here for our neighborhood”

“Best Mexican Meat market in town. Lovely local family owned mom and pop shop. We regularly pick up their rice, beans, pico and chopped seasoned chicken or pork. It's so good! Grab queso and tortillas and dinner is done! Great selection of specialty items too. This week I also got some dog bones from them! My girls are SO HAPPY! They're huge. And so much cheaper than from the pet store, plus I'm sure better quality.”
“This is the only place I buy groceries, frankly. I have no reason to go anywhere else. Good produce, lots of organics, good selection, friendly service, fast checkout. Wish they carried the Simply Potatoes Southwest Hash Bowns so I didn't have to drive to Safeway in Reno to get them.”

“Awesome little gem in Stateline. They have groceries, beer, wine, souvenirs. But the part is the staff! Truly awesome! We visit Tahoe often and this is our go to spot. We recently played Music Trivia with Greg that was sooo much fun. We stayed and played about 40 mins! Great time, they always have great tunes playing!”

“Smith's has a big variety of Special items hanging on End caps, well maintained with stock products. Extra self- Check out registers, lines seemed to be lessened and more self-served for Seniors.One Inspiring note are signing up on the app, Local Companies that are non- profit organizations, I chose the Douglas County Citizen Patrol ?.What ever you spend accounts for the non profit organization and they receive a check from Smith's. It's something to think about helping out a nonprofit organization.”
“I have been in this store several times now over the last couple of months and every time the people working there have been friendly, helpful and a genuine delight to be around! It is such a great change from so many of the places in town. The store isn't perfect however, they are doing a great job. The place is clean and well stocked (without expired things out). Every time I've gone in, at least one employee on the floor smiles, says hello and offers assistance. It's wonderful to be treated so well!”

“This is a really nice safeway at stateline lake Tahoe. It's especially nice because the selection is quite good, diverse and they even have vegan and healthy foods as well. There aren't a lot of big stores in the South lake Tahoe area.”
“The bathrooms were very clean - unusual for Walmarts in general in my experience. I travel the country in an RV and frequent Walmarts everywhere a couple times a week. I commend whoever is doing the job of cleaning the restroom! The store in general was very clean and the workers seemed friendly. My only complaint is a few of the items I wanted were out of stock, although the store seemed well stocked in general. Too Good VANILLA yogurt is always hard to find nationwide. The vanilla flavor seems to be the first out of stock. Maybe increase the inventory on it! Also and maybe I was t looking in the right area, some more variety in high fiber lower calorie flatbreads. There was lots of tortillas so I chose that instead. In general Walmart is doing better on healthier food options. I’d like you to see them concentrate on more foods without toxic seed oils. They keep improving and listening to consumers so I’m hopeful! Good job Walmart in Carson City for having a nice experience overall!”
“Customer service very nice ?We had car issues and the man behind the counter was amazing to us while we resolved our issue once resolved we were able to enjoy our stay. We were in out during our couple days we stayed in Tahoe and each time we received excellent customer service was so nice having awesome customer service”

“After dinner, I dropped in with my partner for some groceries for breakfast the next morning. Got eggs, bread, orange juice, and champagne for a great price. We entered our rewards number which took off almost $12. The store was surprisingly busy for a Monday night at 8 o'clock however, there were several check stands open with short lines. Our cashier was friendly and chatted with us while speedily checking our items. The store was clean and the shelves were neat and stocked.”
