This Walmart is the worst I have ever been to, I had an issue with the rude manager they had working on 12/3/2022 at 2:00 pm, let's start with I have been there no less than 100 times for the auto service for my fleet of vehicles, on this date, I had asked for full service oil change (not the pit crew). I received a texted saying my vehicle was done. I returned to the auto shop and the same young man who checked my vehicle in was at the counter along with the store manager. I said I'm here to get my vehicle as well as buy some oil, an air filter plus an ink cartridge for my printer, he cashed me out and off I went. I then looked under the hood and saw my washer fluid was low, my brake fluid was low and my power steering fluid was completely empty. I returned to the counter and advised the manager as he was at the one standing there. He immediately said we never check brakes or power steering fluid ( he later said he never said power steering fluid just brake fluid) however that is not the case but even if that be the case, this is where the issue starts, he then asked ME TO GO OUTSIDE AND TELL THE TECH TO DO WHAT EVER I HAD AN ISSUE WITH, he is the manager and that is absolutely his job not mine. i then did as he said and the older man in the shop came out as I had my hood up and told me we do not ever check brake or power steering fluid and we have not for 5 years I informed him they used to but he said I could buy fluid inside so I left. I then pulled up on the Walmart web sight what is included in a full service (not pit crew) oil change and it clearly states CHECK AND FILL power steering but by now I already filled it myself. Now the next issue, 2 hours later I get a call from Walmart saying I left without paying for my oil change? I said I told you I'm here to pick up my vehicle plus pay for the extra oil and ink and you cashed me out so I then went back to my office and got my receipt and yes he did not charge me for an oil change, I told him I would be back to pay and speak to the manager about the power steering fluid was absolutely to have been added. I walked in and to my surprise the same manager that was rude and said to go tell his people to do there job was standing by the front door so I went to him to show him on the phone that they did not properly service my vehicle and that he needed to be aware of what is included, once again he rudely stated he never said power steering fluid he said we do not check brake fluid only and again that is not correct but what about the power steering, he said he talked to the tech (he should have done that when I advised my power steering was empty) From here I advised I did not receive a full service oil change as my power steering was empty, my washer fluid was not full and 1 worse my tire pressures where not set (all part of a full service oil change So after returning because the cashier did not charge me that I would pay for a pit crew oil change as they do not check any fluids on that oil change and it is $10 cheaper. He then raised his voice and said no you will not you will leave and have a nice day. Hmmmmm that is how your managers handle there issues I will not return plus contact the regional manager. Beware they do not do a full service oil change and often they do not even open the auto shop I assume due to lack of help but regardless it's an issue. Have the manager do oil changes if you need to but to just open the shop at your option is really not an option.

Watch Out!! You could be paying more for product then you should be. This should be considered fraud! This location has a pricing issue. If you take anything away from this review please download the Walmart app and double check their products in store especially the so called "clearance sticker prices" I was recently at this location checking out the "clearance" aisle which we all know is a great place to find all kinds of goodies at a great discount that Walmart marks down to make room for other products BUT I noticed some pricing discrepancy between in-store "clearance" and online regular priced items. I noticed a cute tie dyed hammock on "clearance" for $25.00 but it had no original price on the tag like their tags normally have so you could see what the original cost was and at what the clearance price currently is so you know how much you're saving. If like me as a shopper you like to gauge if it's worth buying. When I opened my Walmart app to scan the product is popped up as $24.88 regular price online listed it as "sold and shipped by Walmart". I always double check the shipping details as Walmart allows outside parties to ship products and they are not sold by Walmart. This item was though to which I found it very odd that online it's $24.88 regular price but in-store it's $25.00 on clearance?? I even scanned a different color and checked that price which was $24.96 still priced cheaper at a regular price online. Hopefully Walmart can get this under control because it seem like false advertising and board-line if not fraud. Making claims that product is marked at clearance pricing when in fact it actually marked up higher than what you have it listed online. I get many will say well it's only off by .12 cents who cares. Might be so but it's the principle and as the consumers we need to hold big companies like this accountable. Tricking customers into buying products that are marked with clearance tags on the marked clearance aisles just for the product to NOT be marked at clearance price but is actually higher than their online regular retail price. It's wrong. Please Walmart correct this.

I believe this store has the majority of our town's business and they show their appreciation for that by having the least amount of people at registers during check out.

This is definitely not the best Walmart. Tons of the items on the shelves are not in the right location. It was very hard for me and my family to find anything we were looking for. My son went to the location to buy something as simple as socks and underwear. It took him almost 45 minutes to find the things he was looking for. The signs that were above each aisle did not match the contents that were on the shelf in that aisle. I am not sure if it is like this at this Walmart every day as this is my first (and last) time ever coming to this Walmart but it was super frustrating not to be able to find anything. And the staff was not much help either. I asked multiple people where the items were and nobody could apparently tell me I do not understand how all these people work here at the store every single day but yet no one knows exactly how to find the things the customer is looking for. And when I asked him for help they made it seem like it was super difficult. We did end up buying socks from this location and the socks were dingy and old. It almost look like they had been used or some thing. This was completely unacceptable and it made our experience terrible

went to the self serve check out and an error popped up so I waited for assistance. They purposely made the error pop up so they can come over and read everything I bought to make sure I paid for everything. The secret shopper (who isn't so secret) was standing with the cashier while they scrolled through my purchases. While they stood there I continued to pay. Turns out I bought everything. Nice try. was it because my family is colored? Or not dressed to their standards? Not sure but won't be coming back.

This Walmart needs new management! This store is a mess. I live locally to the store. Half the time the shelves are bare. There are usually only two checkers working which causes long lines at both the checkers and the self-service. The self-service now only takes credit/debit cards. Cash is no good anymore at this store? All the other Walmarts still take cash. What's up with this store? The Pharmacy closes every day from 1:30 PM to 2 PM. Why? There are usually 3 to 4 people working in the pharmacy. They can't take turns taking breaks? The other day I went there at 1:15 PM and it was already closed. Really? I had to make a special trip back to get my Rx. I just got back from going there to swap out my propane tank with a new one. I went to Customer Service and, guess what, it was closed. I was told that they would be back at 1:45 pm and that they were on break. Really? I now have to make a special trip back to swap out my propane tank. I only go to this Walmart because it is local and I don't want to have to drive to Carson City to go to a "good" Walmart. The management at this store needs to really step it up and improve. Most of my friends are complaining about this store as well. They will lose my business and probably some of my friends as well if they don't start to improve their overall service.

Unfortunately this is closest shopping for me. Parking lot so full of carts they extend into driveways, not able to get answer on where my refund is & its been about 3 weeks & no one available to get paint mixed even after they were paged, not to mention the long, long lines & only 2 cashiers!! This place is a joke!

Great, has everything you could need! I come here for my groceries now. I think this is the closest Walmart to Tahoe so you see a lot of people from California in the parking lot which may be a bad or good thing to you, depending on who is reading this. Anyway, the place isn't very packed but the cashiers are slow. Small price to pay for easy access to all the goods I need.

My husband saw this at our local Walmart today. We will no longer be spending any of our hard to earn money here. How are " big chain" companies promoting this kind of propaganda amongst its citizens? Please, buyers, be AWARE. For your sake, for my sake, for all of our sake's. Today they condition you, tomorrow it is second nature. Open your eyes, mind and heart to see what is happening. Stay strong. Stay true. Stay humble.

I was just ganged up on by 3 security want to be cops in this store, spoken extremely rude to by the asst manager Jose, who didn't have time or professionalism to talk to me about how his 300 lb employee with half shaved head and purple hair who physically tried to block me from going 10 feet to grab a blender as the store was closing!!! The security in this store.. is a joke! I have one punk guy named Will laughing and eye balling me like some gangster punk and was ease dropping on my conversation with my son! Didn't think I'd eyeball his punk a** back! And the fat bald guy and fat young punk, the other two want to be's aggravating the situation try to intimidate me. Not playing this! I'll be making formal complaints about them and how they ganged up an 130 lb lady holding power cords and a blender! Tuff guys! This store has the worst customer service! I've spent so much money in this store over the 6 years I've lived in town! I guess the 10's of thousands we spend there means nothing!!!! I'll never shop there again! Taking my business elsewhere! I hope they get fired for their lack of professionalism and harassing and intimidating actions!!!! Grow up you want to be cops and direct your attention on the criminals that are stealing from the store that you can't seem to catch! What a joke! And by the way, if you ease drop on a personal conversation, don't be surprised as to what you hear... will! I call it like I see it! Fat!!! Mind your own business and it's a free country last I checked! I can say what I want to my family members! What a joke! So unprofessional! After thinking about this, I will NEVER WASTE MY HARD EARNED MONEY TO SUPPORT THESE IDIOTS!!! I really hope someone hangs up on their loved one! By the way I was there to get two items for a police vehicle that we were working on and a blender so I can eat after my surgery ... I got to this store as fast as I could before they closed after getting off of work so I could be abused!

The lack of professionalism, the lack of ethics and the lack of customer service at this Walmart is truly disgusting. The people working at the customer service counter should be fired immediately and seem to be a reflection of deplorable management. These are dishonest people and you would be better served going to Carson City or anywhere else.

I really liked this Walmart - bought tires and auto service and around $500 a month for groceries for the last 4 years that I have been living up here. Today I met "miss attitude" assistant manager Angie - suffice to say I will not be going to this Wal Mart anymore - rude employees are easy to find and even easier to replace.

I don't much care for Walmart as a business but I will say that their curbside pickup is great, especially during the COVID crisis. So, here's a big shoutout to curbside!!!! You are always friendly, you always have a smile (even behind your face masks) you're courteous and fast. My wait time is never more than 10 minutes. I appreciate what your doing for the public. Thank you.

Today at 7;10am I went to Walmart Gardnerville store One of the entrances was closed with caution tape. The other entrance was open but you had to walk to the far end of building to get in line. there was no one in line today. so I went under the tape approximately 3 steps from the entrance. I proceeded to walk in thru the doors where the manager was standing inside and she told me I had to go to end of the tape outside and wait my turn in line to come in. I told her there was no one in line but she insisted I go back out. So I walked out the door and immediately walked back in. I get it, but really.

Worst walmart EVER! I don't get paid to self checkout.. waited 30 minutes and finally get to the clerk. Im 62 and did not have my wallet. They denied my purchase of alcohol!. They don't care about Seniors..They have one hour of one day per week for seniors to go in!. The time is 6am to 7am Tuesday.. They allow people to buy as much as they want leaving nothing for others.. I will not spend my money there..
