Stop by the Pacific Gasoline Station when you're leaving Lake Tahoe. They offer some of the most affordable gas in the area, and the credit prices are on par with cash, which is a nice bonus. Just keep in mind that getting into the parking lot can be tricky due to ongoing road work.
