“I rarely give 5 stars but Dan and H Reed gave my old truck new life! I had a bad experience at another local shop so went back to Dan’s team at Standard Diesel and was very pleased with the results. I highly recommend them. I bought this one owner GMC used just a couple years ago with 270k miles and Service Engine light on. A vacuum leak was detected and painstakingly found and fixed. Bravo to Dan and his crew! It runs like a dream again…many more miles to come.”

“Shane treated me like family, listened patiently as I described my truck’s issues. He got back to me promptly with an evaluation of what had to be done and should be done. The repairs took several days as expected. I was impressed that his estimate did not go up. In fact, came down a bit. I was updated as the work was done and it was completed within the original timeframe estimated once I gave the go ahead.

“You will not find a better auto repair shop. A lot smaller of a shop, but is run by the best mechanics. Incredibly friendly staff that want to help you. They help me after every other shop was closed, when i was in a bind 3 hours away from home. I wish I could make this my permeant mechanic.”
“My experience with this shop was really great and different from what I would say a lot of people have to go through when taking their vehicles to a mechanic. My 95 f250 broke down south of gardnerville and Anthony took the time to diagnose my truck in a matter of minutes, mind you this was also after hours of them closing. Once they had the parts ordered and delivered they had it up and running in a matter of hours, all 8 injectors and harnesses/seals, truck ran amazing after, drove the truck all the way to SoCal after as well. The customer service was top notch and there was an obvious high level of knowledge for the engines they work on. Would recommend this shop to anyone and will! Thanks again Allegiance diesel!!”

I'm a traveler and got a coolant sensor message.
It is the summer and it's been triple digits, so I wasn't taking any chances.
I got man-splained by the first 2 places I tried.
Double J took care of me right away, in case we needed parts we could get the process moving.
After a thorough inspection and test drive, they found no error messages and absolutely no coolant leaks.
They topped off my fluids and refused to take a payment.
These guys are clearly not looking to rip you off, or they could have put me through all sorts of assessment fees, etc. - not even $5 for the fluid they used to top me off.

“This place is OUTSTANDING! I have taken my TJ there twice, and both times they have not only fixed what I had broken, they noticed and fixed other things that were going to fail at some inopportune moment on the trail. In both cases, the Jeep drove much better than I could have imagined after repair and tune up. These guys REALLY know their stuff!! They're completely no-nonsense, and their experience really shows. They just saved me a very difficult and expensive repair (transfer case removal and rebuild) by knowing that this TC almost never fails, and that the problem is almost always in the shift linkage. And they were able to quickly work through my now-obsolete suspension to get to the linkage, replace the bad part, and then adjust it so it works like brand new. And all for a very reasonable price. I HIGHLY recommend these guys!”
“They always leave oil on my plate so I have to wash my undercarriage, they really need to do better at that and checking stuff cause had they, they would of known i had a light out. But for the price, its hard to beat walmart.”
““Best response ever from a repair shop
I brought our recently purchased 1967 Ford Bronco for an inspection to determine what would need to be done to make it safe to drive. A few days later Gary called us to come down to talk about necessary repairs in order of priority. After discussing the work that needed to be done we thanked Gary for a detailed inspection and asked him how much it would cost for his services. His reply was “I don’t get paid to inspect vehicles I get paid to repair them“. Of course, we immediately arranged to have the services done by Gary and his crew. They did a fantastic job at installing new power steering, power brakes, steering wheel, turn indicators etc to make it safe to drive. Gary and his crew do complete restorations on classic vehicles. I recommend you stop by and ask him for a tour of the restorations they are working on because you will be very impressed with the incredible work they do. Gary and his crew will definately be helping restore this 1967 bronco project until it’s finished!!”

“Bob is awesome! I brought in my short bus conversion that I live in full time. I thought it was a brake issue (and one of those lame corporate tire places told me was a $1000 front rotor job). Bob showed me my rotors and pads in fine shape, but that I needed shocks, totally fixed my issue. I tried asking for a brake flush and he flat out refused to take my money for a job he didn’t think I needed. Definitely will return if I need more work done and I’m in the area. Plus his dog was cool!”
