The products and selection of items are perfect. The prices are good but the customer service could be better. Instead of opening the store on time, the lady continued to talk for another 5 minutes, watching me as I stood there waiting for her to open the door. I mean you have a job to do so do it please.

Update to 2021 review: It has been over 33 months, yes nearly 3 years, that we have been trying to contact the contractor who installed our doors to no avail. Apparently, the store is unable to call or even attempt to call their own contractor & simply gives us his information to do it ourselves. Whenever we do, it goes to voice-mail & he never calls back. I suppose this is what they consider to be "customer service". 2 out of the 3 doors which were installed by Lowe's have been drafty for 3 years since the installation. The draftiest door is in the master bedroom, go figure. Due to this, a space heater is required every winter, otherwise the room is unbearable to sleep in. This wasn't an issue pre-installation. The door in the kitchen is not only mildly drafty, but it leaks horribly whenever it rains. We actually have little rivers that run into the kitchen & dining room, creating puddles if we do not put towels down by the door frame during rainstorms. That also was not an issue pre-installation. If I could go back in time 3 years, I would absolutely have NEVER contracted Lowe's for this, nor bought all of the doors & frames from them, as they did a piss-poor job & don't even have the decency or respect for their customers to simply call them back when there is a problem. Thank you for the puddles, but if I wanted to go swimming, I'd visit Lake Tahoe.

I was just here. I asked for a board to be cut in half like I do every week. One quick cut so I can fit it in my car. The employee said no. So then I go to another Lowe's employee, and I ask if I can get this board cut in half, she said the saw is broken. I saw that saw being used yesterday. I'm here daily. I get this cut on a board I buy weekly. This is a routine. I spend about a thousand dollars a month here. Then I called this Lowe's and I ask to speak with a member of management, they said no. They transferred me to the wood department to have to deal with the guy who told me no in the first place. Today is Sunday, November 12th, 2023, it happened at 7:45 am in the morning. Your clientele is blue collard men who take their work with pride, who believe in old values and principles and morals. The customer service a $1,000. a month spending regular customer like me at the Fernley Lowe's just experienced us a complete embarrassment and disgrace. A slap in the face. I have a book of receipts to prove how much I regularly spend here. I'm so mad I'm almost in tears. I build special projects out of wood for people I care about. I am just shocked at how poorly I was treated. And to be laughed at too because I can't purchase that wood if it won't fit in my car? I am a hard worker and I am a good person. This hobbie I spent a fortune on at this store every month is the only thing bringing me joy in life. I called a Lowe's in Reno and they said they'll do it, no problem. I vented a little and they were very professional, kind and courteous. Now I have to go drive 40 miles for something I routinely did at the Fernley Lowe's 5 miles from my house, because they simply don't feel like it. Great. Your saw is not broken, just like how the ice cream machine at McDonald's isn't really broken.

Worst store ever. Amanda is a "manager" of back area and finance, according to her! Yet she is rude, arrogant and I doubt she passed high school arithmetic! I have had to purchase and re buy/ order 3 stoves because the first two were inoperable. They wanted me to use my warranty HA, try finding anyone to come to Fallon. It's ridiculous that they want you to pay full price for a broken item. I bought first one March of 23 finally got a working one in Sept. of course the delivery guys could not pick up the old one because no paperwork. They came again the next weekend. Of course lowes never credited my account and Amanda & Patric never call me back and act like I am lying and never returned the broken stove. I called corporate last week and made a complaint and she said expect a call in 24 hours it's been 4 days . I called today and left a msg. for Patric but suppose I will be wasting my time again, calling corporate on Monday. Pathetic how people in consumer related jobs don't know the slightest thing about customer service.

Extremely disappointed in how our home town Lowe's has gone down hill over last several months. Today went in due to a mix up and shortage on building material we had purchased for our new him. We were shorted 4 cabinets and didn't notice until we went to install. something that clearly would show up on their inventory. We had a picture and time stamp of the order the day we picked up. The manager Patrick was a complete butt interrupting me. Had zero respect for customer service. Talked down to me and made me feel like I was a liar. my husband and I have spent over $50,000 dollars in material purchases in the last year at the Fernley Lowe's. I asked for a discount on the cabinets I needed to finish the job and he offered the current 10% the store was offering. Then he said the only way I could get that discount was if I didn't call customer care. Needless to say I didn't take his 10% because it was a slap in the face. Then after I made my purchase which I waited over 40 minutes to get any help, leaving the cabinet area to navigate a flat cart thru the disorganized store, narrow isles with several employees walking past seeing me struggle and zero offered to help. zero customer service. Shame on you Lowe's our Fernley area deserves better.

Great customer service. The employees here were all helpful and wanted to help customers. It felt so strange because of the other Lowe's locations we have visited. They even have a live person who answers the phone when you call.

Went in on Thursday, June 22 around 11am to get brochures for some products. Walked up to the pro desk and Misty was standing there. She said, "Hi." I said, "Hello." Then there was an awkward pause of her staring at me. She then said hi again and I returned with a hello. She waited for me to speak again which I then asked for brochures. However, doesn't anyone say, "How can I help you?" Absolutely horrible customer service!

Horrible customer service and gives you the run around!! I ordered 75 boxes of hardwood flooring 2/25. It was supposed to be ready 3/4. We called last week and was told they didn't have a record of our order. So, I called again yesterday 3/14 at 1013. Misty told me that she didn't see an order and she would call back. She called back at 1038 to tell me she's getting her manager involved. I never heard back. So I called at 1714 and was placed on hold for 20 minutes!! I called back and asked for a manager to which Misty told me there wasn't one and to come in 3/15 and Bruce would be there. When I asked when he would be in, she told me 0600. I drove from Fallon to Fernley at 0840 and was told Bruce doesn't come in til 1100. When Coral, the flooring manager on staff heard I was there for a complaint, she said "you have to do a refund re-bill and it will be a few more weeks until we get the flooring in." Due to this mistake, I am paying for a rental AND a house mortgage. There was NO sympathy, no apology and no remorse or offer to make this right. Once I brought up the situation, I was treated with resistance and disdain. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! GO TO HOME DEPOT OR ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!

Don't ever buy the warranty plan here. I spent $200 for the extended warranty for my drier. I called for service and it took over a month for anyone to call me back. When they finally did schedule a service (3 weeks later) the tech refused to do any work and just left. What the hell? So I paid for a warranty just for someone to give me the middle finger and I'm stuck with a broken drier Lowes refuses to fix and honor the warranty I paid for.

Caitlyn in customer service seemed miserable and anything she said or asked was super aggressive. We misplaced our receipt but had our transaction number/mylowes account info which showed our order/proof of payment. She kept mumbling to herself and was acting very irritated. She then told us that the return was past 30 days, mind you we knew that but it was an item that needed to be ordered and was never delivered. However, Terrie and Frank are awesome. We ordered a washer/dryer a month and a half ago and didn't find out till today(delivery day) that they couldn't get the dryer. They helped us find a replacement set! They made a frustrating situation 100 times better.

If I could leave a "0" I could. Horrible customer service. We've spent over $20,000 at this store last few weeks. I bought the wrong size faucet and tried to exchange it. They refused without a receipt. They have the same faucet in stock snd I just wanted to change it out for proper size. Lady at counter and manager refused to switch them. I have the receipt but it's an hour and a half away, they wanted me to drive 3 hours round trip for the receipt. We remodel houses.... They've lost ALL my future business

We had made a purchase the previous night for a project. When we got the project started we discovered we were missing some of the components we purchased. I called up customer service and they told me to come down with my receipt. When I came in, they reviewed my receipt and items I was missing and told me to grab new ones. They made it very easy to get back going.

If you try to buy something that isn't pretty rudimentary at this store you're in for utter frustration. This is absolutely the poorest stocked store for tools and building materials I have tried to patronize. They think because they're the only game in town they don't have to stock any variety or choices, other than what they want to sell. Home Depot isn't a lot better here in N NV, but they are a bit, and I make the drive from Fallon NV, THROUGH Fernley, to go to a Reno HD store. We wanted a decent framing nail gun for a gift, and we had to go to HD in Reno for one. Fernley Lowe's had one type...ONE! If you want a lesson in Rude, just deal with Kat at the Fernley store. What an absolute rude person with no social skills. My last dealings with her a year ago has kept me from walking through their doors since then. We're presently building a cabin and are spending upwards of $20K for materials and fixtures...But Not from this store. They don't stock 1/2 what we need. I see Lowe's CA stores have far more stock and choices. N NV is the ignored stepchild. When managers get asked about stock and items sold just over the hill in CA but not here they get rude and defensive. Lowe's reaches a new Low.

They had most of what i needed. I ordered online the day before but my order wasn't ready. They did get right on it but i still spent an hour there for what i thought would be an in and out trip. I think maybe they were under staffed that day. I'll still continue to shop at lowes...
