“They need to get a larger drop off box. Quite often it is to full to drop off or it's to small for even a small package to fit in. And I don't like dropping packages off at sportsworld in an open air box on the floor.Also it would be nice if ups would consider moving location. There location on the main street of town is not very attractive.Otherwise I do appreciate the package service here in Ely.”

“As far as the anemic, underfunded US Postal Service goes these days, this location is not bad. Ely's post office is understaffed, to be sure. The same ladies serving the front counter do the sorting, so bear with. Some of them are friendlier than others. A dose of sugar goes further than vinegar here. The operation is efficient and clean. As with most small towns, expect to get packages a day or two past ETA. If there are problems with package delivery, it is actually likely an issue with the local UPS distro center, not USPS. The local UPS delivery center is entirely inept, and seem to willfully undercut their own contractual obligations to serve the post office.”
