If I can leave this motel 6 stars I would . Been coming here for 7 years . Vera keeps everything meticulously perfect . Clean Clean Clean ! Rooms are cozy and super comfortable. My wife is a neat freak . When we're in the area she insist on Rustic Inn . So nicely decorated. Vera (The owner ) deserves Pride of motel ownership. We love ya Vera !

Went with small town motels for a trip back to the PNW recently and this was our first stop. It was wonderful. Spoke to the owner when I reserved the room and she made sure I knew the process to get into the room regardless of when we arrived. Had a really nice little room that had a balcony to enjoy my coffee the next morning and the parking was sufficient. Will definitely return!

Perfection!
Very quiet room, and easily accessed from the main highway through Ely. Additional services (fuel, ice, food) are within walking distance of the motel. Nice, extra-wide parking spaces; in most cases, right outside of your door.
Miss Vera is a delight to visit with, and she's never too busy to stop and chat.

Let me start by saying the rooms are AWESOME and the prices great. But let me tell you about the best part. It’s Vierra. She’s the owner/operator of the Motel and the sweetest person. The rooms are clean and many nice subtle surprises you won’t get elsewhere. Water bottles in your room, a nice snack, etc. There’s a “comfortable peace” over the property and I cannot recommend this Oma enough enough.

Vera is such a gem. A kind person who has lovely rooms for a great price. We were passing through on our way home and luckily chose this place. The rooms are spacious, clean and homey. I highly recommend Vera's home away from home.

What a great place to stay! I have stayed in Ely several times, but this was my first time at the Rustic Inn. When I arrived, Vera, the owner was away from the office, but she had already left a note on the door specifically for me and directing to my room, which was open for me. Inside, she had left clear instructions to check myself in. All of this was greatly appreciated as was the room. It was spotless, spacious, quiet, and completely comfortable. The temperature was easy to control, the bed was comfortable, and all the amenities were present. Soon after arrival, I left the room, and Vera greeted me in the parking lot, and how welcome and appreciated she made me feel! Talking with her was like talking with a good friend. All of these things are the reasons why I regretted, as I told her, that these rating scales only go up to five stars. Based on my experience, I would gladly give the Rustic Inn ten stars if I could. Obviously, I will stay here again the next time I am in Ely.

Great spot for some affordable sleep. I just stayed for one night passing through town, the rooms were clean and the front desk lady (also the owner I believe) was VERY kind.

I visit Ely kinda often, and I usually stay at Hotel Nevada. But this time, I wanted to stay at a more convenient place, as in, no stairs, and parking is close by. I had a heavy luggage this trip, so Rustic Inn was perfect. Having a comfortable bed is important for many people. This Inn has it. I slept so good that I actually thought about staying another night. The shower water pressure was great. Oh, and it's pet friendly. Even better! Next time I'm in town, I'll be booking a room here again.Rooms: Very clean and comfortableWalkability: Less than a mile to casinos, a park, and restaurants

Cute motel with lots of extras including ceramic coffee mugs in the room. Front desk lady is very friendly and accommodating. Would stay again if we travel this way.Walkability: Downtown across from grocery store. Easily walkable to see some sights.

Wow. Amazing and Excellent! Great service, clean rooms and extras! We came through town on our way west and found the Rustic Inn for a good night sleep. The owner was so nice and the place is extremely charming. I would definitely come back.

DO NOT RESERVE HERE!!!
Property cancelled one week out from a special event, no other places available.
Would love to tell you what it was like but proprietor first claimed a "flooding" issue and then said they never confirmed the room.

We were travelling around the States from the UK and spotted this place on Expedia. Thought it was cheap but worth a try as we only needed a warm bed and shower for the night.
Brilliants night stay, door was open when we got there with the key on the side. Bed was comfy, room was fine for what we paid. Would visit again.
