At Neff's Diesel Repair I received a 5 star service, from the outstanding inspection including video and verbal explanations of discoveries as well as straight forward recommendations of Repairs,through a fair and thorough estimate of parts and labor. Final Repairs were completed in a timely and professional manner resulting in a completely satisfactory experience.

The owners should be ashamed of themselves. I know that all shops try to upsell but Neff’s is stealing from people. I took my 2015 Ram in to get a transmission service and a front axel U-joint replaced. They quoted me $6100, $1100 for the transmission service and $5000 to change one U-joint. This is 2 to 3 times as much as a fair price would be. Not to mention all of the extra repairs they found during their “complementary” inspection that they told me I needed which were all unnecessary. They still charged me $230 to get me truck back after I told them they were out of their minds. Please people do research and don’t let shops like this one take advantage of you.

My RAM 2500 had a DPF failure (derating) on a road trip between Wyoming and California. I was fortunate to be in the vicinity of team NDRP. They took me in, diagnosed the problem, and offered solutions to get me up and running. The entire shop went above and beyond expectations to help me through a difficult situation. I appreciated the friendliness of the staff (Michaelina, Shannon) and attention to detail and sincerity of the owner (Jeremy). They really treat you like family here. Thank you NDRP.

These guys saved the day! We were on a roadtrip, and needed an emergency mechanic. They were able to squeeze us in that day, and did the most thorough diagnostics I've ever experienced! I would highly recommend if you're in the area, and in need of an amazing shop!

My Chevy 5500 with a Duramax motor decided to break down just as I was about to leave Elko. Every where was closed. Called first thing Monday morning and spoke with Shannon. Very friendly said she could schedule for Tuesday morning but if I could get it in soon they maybe able to start on it sooner. Took it right after and spoke with Mchaelene, she said it would be up next. Later I received a message with the diagnostics and photos of the problem. The technician who diaged it did a very thorough inspection of the whole vehicle. I then spoke with Shannon who said they actually had the part in stock, wow. She was able to get it worked in and got my truck back on Tuesday afternoon. They really wen above and beyond for me. Thank you Neffs team!

Excellent customer service. I was passing through town and needed my rear differential and transmission fluids checked. They were able to squeeze me in immediately and for a very reasonable price.

Can't recommend enough.
Took my ram into here to diagnose an overheating issue/ lost off coolant issue I'd had since getting a major service done at the local dodge dealer.
Neffs diagnosed the issue for cheap and fixed.
Decided to get a bunch of other stuff done by them whilst I was at it.
Their service was quick, very efficient and well priced.
They even replaced my hood struts without me asking.
They have a setup that easily shows you their inspection report, and allows you to select what you want to repair from a list, and pay for it very quickly and easily.
Probably the best mechanic I've dealt with anywhere in the world.
If you're on the fence- hop over and use neffs.
I'll be using them exclusively once my new trucks free services are done.

Called when I first came to elko a while back about a leaking front main crank seal. Clearly the problem. they wouldn't even give me a quote without charging me 200$ to "diagnose" it. Takes 5 seconds to diagnose a bad seal. Hung up the phone, bought the seal for $35 and had it changed out in less then two hours and done. Over priced, rude, and the office people have no clue what's up

I was in Elko from Reno and was having issues with my exhaust fluid system. I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up before they closed. Big piece of mind for my return trip to Reno and a very fair cost. Thank you.

Customer service is was always above and beyond and the prices was real honest to the point and it really made me comfortable and happy that to do the things I needed for my jeep was awesome and that's why I say that it was always above and beyond to get things done the right way and I love it and it was awesome thank you
