“Always the cheapest place to get your tobacco needs and always will be. The local tribes business really does succeed in putting the customer first and making the experience enjoyable while lasting long. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and will continue to shop there.”

“I've been shopping here for 4 years in Elko, NV. I like it much more than any Wal Mart. Customer Service, Cashiers, Stockers, Meat Cutters and Management should be all commendable.”

“Gas and snacks! Maverik is our go to stop for road trips. We love the selection and ability to grab everything we need from firewood to drinks. Maverik is adventure's first stop!”

“The truckstop itself is very convenient. I was hoping to buy a sandwich there, but unfortunately, I witnessed an employee in the men's restroom exit without washing his hands. Yes, he was doing a sit down. Settled for a bag of Jerky. No more port of subs for me.”

“Best food I've ever gotten at a gas station. Actually hand made sandwiches and burritos. My partner got the chorizo burrito and said we'll be making a stop there every time we go through here. Bathrooms were also very clean.”

“We're feeling pretty bad right now! ?We're an elderly (75 & 79) couple and we were pulling a travel trailer late yesterday west on I-80. We were super exhausted after many miles. The lowering sun making seeing impossible, with 2 small, restless dogs. Busy freeway with lots of BIG trucks passing and swaying the trailer. We had been looking for a place to stop for the night for 100 mi. and were getting very worried. We can't drive at night. Hungry, thirsty, tired, irritatable, in pain.....Then, unbelievably, we ran out of gas 2 mi. west of Elko. My hubby NEVER runs out of gas! Story of our last several days! That put us stranded on a narrow, dangerous freeway shoulder. We called AAA and they would be there in 45. min. - after dark! Luckily a Trooper stopped, gave us a gal. and got us headed back to the Elko Sinclair. Got there in there in the dark, filled up and bought a bunch of stuff at the store.I asked if it would be ok if we parked for the night and was told yes, no problem. So, we tried to figure out where we would be out of the way. On hindsight I should have asked. But my brain was mush. It was a hard decisions, but probably the wrong one. But we finally backed into a truck spot as far back as possible. But I was uncomfortable about the decision all night and googled "Truck stop etiquette " this morning and found out we were wrong.I had caved to being ignorant, too tired to think well and a hubby getting more irritable by the minute. But I know now.But this am I went in and bought coffee, food and a bunch of other stuff. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.I thanked them for letting us park here and hoped we didn't cause any problems. Immediately the "friendly" was turned off and I got the cold shoulder. It really made me feel bad and was the reason I Googled.I am truly sorry and was so thankful for a safe place to park but but I hope Sinclair can adopt a little more positive way to deal with this situation. Its got to be common. For one thing, be up front with directions on where to park to not interfere with trucks. We stop at Sinclair a lot. We probably don't spend as much in gas as the big trucks. But our little pickup holds 35 gal and at 8 mpg we are thankful for availability of Sinclairs.I apologize for the inconvenience we might have caused. Please, relay that to the staff.”

“Don’t judge it by the exterior or cramped interior. I was skeptical when we made our stop, but my toddler was starving and we were in the middle of a really long road trip. The young woman working the cafe was so incredibly nice and the food was delicious. Definitely glad we stopped.”

“Alright, bathrooms where not super clean, but that burnt ends breakfast burrito was BUSSIN, and I work at a barbeque! Not a ton of meat, but the meat that was in there was so nice and smokey. 10/10 for food, 2/10 for bathrooms.”

“8/15/17 Easy access just off the freeway. The dinosaur that Sinclair uses on their sign is an Apatosaurus whose name is Dino. Sinclair used an ad campaign years ago to incite interest in Sinclair's and get memory recognition of their company. It was a way to inform the public that the oil has been percolating in the ground since the dinosaurs roamed. The logo of Dino has come to connote power, stamina, and consistency to the general consumer. We stopped to fill up and take a short break and were back on the road home.”
