With south lake tahoe prices as high as they are, the prices of trader Joe's makes it worth while 100% to go down to Carson city for groceries. Great selection too.

It's a typical trader Joe's but what I love about this place is the employees all seem really happy. The place maintains a good stock of all items and the parking is phenomenal.

Great Trader Joe's with all of the usual yummy goodness on the shelves. Great employees. Also ample parking at this store as they're in the same parking lot as one of the huge big box stores.

Trader Joe's products have shrunk but their prices didn't also it's stupid you have to bag your own groceries. I'll stick to Costco

I shop at 4 grocery and larger stores in this area. TJs has done the best job on every score without a doubt the best. Another great TJ store in south Carson City. Friendly and helpful staff, tasty trials and occasionally wine. I really like the men's shave cream in Orange tube as well as the liquid stevia, the Tahini, the Hi Fiber cereal, and so many more items. OMG, the dark chocolate bars with almonds, whatever you do don't buy them, you'll never stop eating them!

I wish they had more organic things, but they don't, so I shop elsewhere usually. Soon Sprouts will be in town, but they don't have a lot of organic either, and cost more, so TJ's should do ok. They have some decent inexpensive wines, and some quick organic pre-chopped salads. Their coconut oil is tasty, and staff are really nice.
