This is a relatively small congregation of evangelical Lutherans, who are deeply committed to the church's Scandinavian roots. Each October they hold a Scandinavian Festival, with ethnic foods (sadly, the lady who had made Lutefisk for the festival for years passed away, so there was no Lutefisk; but they did have Lefsa, made fresh on the spot. And Swedish meatballs); craft-making; live Norwegian fiddle music, and lots of fun.
