Friday I went in to purchase a hair mask and my debit card was a little damaged. It worked at a previous location and did not work there! I asked the clerk to put the number in for me and she said she didn’t know how! I told her to ask a supervisor and I don’t know what they told her but she left me standing there and ushered the person behind me without telling me yay or nay! Sick of rude customer service and won’t be back!

You get one star for being open! Not greeted when walked in! The model number on my curling iron that I bought there was changed.. so instead of buying on Amazon I thought I'd support our local brick and mortar abd go into the store. Bad move! I checked the model numbers and none of them matched! So I took the box that was not sealed up to the counter to slide the end out to see if it is the right diameter.. immediately the girl at the counter starts telling me I can't do that! What!!! I've done it before! I didn't take the entire curling iron out of the box... I was looking at the end to see if it's the right size CAUSE YOU CANT RETURN THEM AFTER PURCHASE!! She was so rude! I told her well I'm not going to but something for almost $60 and it be wrong and besides it's wrapped in plastic, the box has no seal so you can look at it and I'm not putting it in my hair!! I opened it anyways... wrong size.. thought to myself.. why am I here with a rude sales associate! I'm not buying anything here! I can go to another beauty supply shop or even salon and they would allow my to look at what I am buying! I left! I wont be buying anything from here ever! Rude rude trashy looking staff member! Will be on the phone to the manager and corporate tomorrow!update: went to Marshalls and got my professional Hot Tools curling iron there, yes they let me slide open the box to look at the diameter!

I went into your store at 3pm to look for hair color. I'm a long time Sally's Reward Club Member. There were 3-4 employees at the register during the 10 minutes I was looking for items. Not 1 person approached me to assist. This is NOT typical for my experience in the store. While I was searching for items, I got to hear about an employees dream she had about a creepy guy going to her house weirding her out, an employee telling another to make sure she eats and sleeps (guess she had a long night last night), another one's car is down and his parents had to bring him in sadly. Oh and one more thing...some ones drawer was short last night. At least I got caught up on all the employee gossip!I left empty handed.

Me and my friends (party of three) walked into this Sally’s without masks on. Upon entering there was a woman in line who was also maskless. The clerk at the front told us that we must leave the store because we didn’t have masks but the other unmasked woman remained in the store. We are all fully vaccinated and have no problem wearing masks. None were provided to us but we did end up getting some. I find it rude to be singled out when other people had obviously been shopping and were allowed to check out while not wearing a mask. If you’re going to enforce, enforce it to every customer. Not a good look @the clerk who wears glasses is short and has bangs and colored hair. Kitty cat ears ?.

The gals who worked here are great! Super friendly and extremely helpful. They had very good suggestions and tips. I believe their names were Martha and Angela. I hope I got there names right. I was outta town for work and it just happened to be my birthday week so I wanted to spruce up my look. This is actually the best Sally's I've ever visited. Thank you ladies and I hope I got your names correct.

I go to this Sally's anytime I'm going to color my hair because they always have the product I need and the staff are soooo helpful! I came in with little info on how I was going to pull off my quarantine style and these ladies gave so much background, advice, and recommendations! I left feeling confident and prepared to take on my project. Thanks for being awesome!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Store monitors how many come in at a time. One on one advice. Thanks for saving me the stress of what to do.

They are VERY VERY serious about all of the COVID demands. The shelves are always empty or close to it. Does no one know how to keep stock shelves. I stopped going in this store a few years ago because of the empty shelves & poor customer service. I couldn't wait for 2 weeks for an order from Texas warehouse because the can't keep stock in the Stead warehouse. I hope I don't ever have to go back.

Bad store. DO NOT go here if you’re African American. They have BAD hair products for our hair. The store workers are very unknowledgeable and rude I would not come to this store for anything anymore. Back in the day the store was ran a lady who made sure that there’s good heathy hair products and she was really knowledgeable. This store has gone down hill over the years.

The store manager at the Carson City location kicked me out of the store and said I couldn’t come in until 10am because I wasn’t a high risk customer, then specified SENOIR citizens only. So I sat outside and waited til 10am and watched anyone and everyone else go in and shop. Some woman who looked as young as 20... So I called her and asked her why she did this to me and no one else and she told me there’s nothing she can do? How does this store manager know if I’m high risk or not? I truly feel discriminated against. I can’t believe employees are allowed to treat customers this way. Terrible service! I’m sad this is the only Sally’s in Carson City. Unfortunately, I can’t go somewhere else to shop for my hair products. Very disappointed in this location.
