Been with quail ridge for over 8 years and the place has really become popular for clients in the Minden and Carson area. They push to help all patients the best they can and are very open if they are unable to support a need and not strong you along like other vets I have gone through. Amazing friendly staff for healthy happy pets, exotic and average, small and big.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They made me feel very comfortable and were exceptionally kind to my cat. I was able to get an appointment quickly, after calling several other places, that were unable to see my cat. They were available anytime I had questions and made myself and my cat feel at home! I highly recommend Quail Ridge Animal Hospital!

I want to start by saying the office staff is Friendly. Our visits with one vet (3+ years ago) were pleasant. She was a woman maybe in her 30s or 40s, does not matter, she was very attentive. However, whenever we had an emergency situation (3X during my dogs life and while a patient there) they never responded to the VM I left. One I left during office hours- yes I checked they were open. Another was because he got out and was missing- all I wanted was to communicate with them if anyone brought him in, as he was microchipped- they NEVER called me back. Last message I left was after he was attacked by three large dogs. This was after hours. I was desperate, just hoping for any guidance. My dog died. There is nothing they could have done. I feel they should have called us back out of some kind of respect. We trusted them with the care of our dog, spent thousands on care and dental care, and they never asked if he was ok. I have also been 'put on hold' and hung up on' several times trying to book appointment I swept this under the rug. I know medical professionals get busy. However, after taking out new dog to this vet, I am looking for a different office. The front office staff is kind enough. The vet (different Vet, was knowledgable). Her bedside manner for the owner or pet did not ensure me that she cares enough to ensure staff returns calls... I am going to search for a new vet, like I would if my animal was a child. This is a personal experience I wanted to share. This clinic has great reviews. It is a very clean and friendly clinic. Please ensure you have a back up vet for any emergency or questions.

Wonderful care and service from every member of the staff. Dr Spears is truly a caring and skilled veterinarian and has helped me with my temperamental Rottweilers, gives care to my French Bulldog, and also spayed our bunny. Highly recommended Quail Ridge vet to anyone looking for excellent loving care for their pets.

This clinic saved my cat's life. He suffered from acute kidney failure in February of this year. They diagnosed him immediately and told me that he needed 24 hour around the clock critical care for the first few days and sent me to an emergency clinic in Reno. Once he was able to come home, they set up routine subcutaneous fluid care (taught me how to give him his fluids) and strict kidney diet to follow. It has been six months since the diagnosis. He is doing great. I will continue to do follow-up visits and blood tests. Thank you, Quail Ridge, for saving my babies life

Many thanks to Dr. Lesli for her compassion and understanding during a very difficult time. The staff went out of their way to help out, and their kindness will not be forgotten.

Theres one Terrible receptionist that answers the calls at the front desk. she will put you on hold and not come back to your call! then if you hang up and try again she will send the call to voicemail. QR may not care but I certainly wouldn't want a person representing my company with that behavior. I definitely wI'll not be bringing my animals here any longer.

They lied! Didn’t call me back for three days knowing my dog was in pain. Will not be taking my dogs here again.

We have been taking our dog to Quail Ridge Animal Hospital for 9 years and they have taken extremely good care of her. Our dog has had a few emergencies over the years and they have fit us into their schedule quickly. They recently went above and beyond to help me find the owners of a lost dog. They are kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful! I highly recommend this vet!

Hosers. my mom took her healthy 7 year old German shepherd in this week for shots. five way, rabies, heart worm and snake bite. They convinced her to have "baseline " bloodwork and urinalysis. He's healthy but they pushed an 82 year old to have extra work done so they know what is normal in case he has problems down the road. Hate people like this who prey on vulnerable older people who love their pets. Over $750. Ridiculous

People at Quail Ridge were friendly, helpful. The vet who did my dog's spay, I feel did a good job. So far no problems & incision has no issues, looks good. They also called next day to see how my puppy was doing & if I had any questions. I would go back if issues or problems arise in the future.
