Took my car in and they said it was a sensor issue. They called me and said my car was on empty so they could not test drive after fixing it. I told them that was impossible because I filled up right before coming there. I told them it must be a sensor issue and I did not have that problem before I took it there. My car was reading just fine. The mechanic accused us of lying. My husband went and got a gas can to put some gas in and it would only take 2 gallons because there was so much gas in it. They then said they can’t fix it because it’s electrical. Now they sent us to another place to pay money for an issue that magically came up after my car was there.

For starters, the services provided was a bit steep on price. I brought them the center section of my irs for a rebuild and lower gear set. The IRS is out of a 99 mustang which uses the same gear set as a standard SRA ford set up, but being that the housing is aluminum, the installation process is slightly different along with the backlash (aluminum expansion, no crush slave, etc)The car has about 1500 miles on it over the past few years and the backlash is ridiculously off since the install. While I dont normally do gear sets (nor do I have the tools to do so currently), I know how to diagnose issues as I have a long and extensive background in automotive work.$1200 for replacing gears that last 1500 miles is garbage. The price wasn't my concern, since getting the tools to do the job once or twice in a decade to save a few dollars wasn't practical... but not being done right is frustrating.I have not contacted them directly, hopefully they will contact me and make it right. I will gladly change my review if the work is done properly.

Oh boy, where do I get started with these guys, probably the biggest group of crooks I've ever had the displeasure to come across. Let's begin with my original engine, I brought in my Subaru that I recently purchased for some routine maintenance. I provided OEM parts for the job (head gaskets & timing belt) that I bought from the Subaru dealership brand new. First mistake. My brand new OEM timing belt snapped while I was driving to work, first red flag, and I should of stopped doing business right then and there. I brought the car back and of course they were not going to do anything for me since I provided the parts. Just very strange an OEM belt would snap like that unless it was installed incorrectly which it probably was. I was scammed into getting a "new" engine. I had that engine for a week before it lost compression, my guess is that that they just replaced the timing belt on my old engine and called it good. A new engine should not experience a loss of compression, that is catastrophic engine failure. Very odd. I bring it back in again, after Frank the owner gave me a hard time about it. I get my THIRD engine in and it pissed oil everywhere, all over the driveway and everything. The rear main seal was bad, something that should of been taken care of on the first engine swap, or at least brought to my attention. So they charged me more for that even though they could've easily of replaced it while the engine was already out. Even after they did the main seal the "new engine" was burning about a quart of oil a week which is also something the refuse to even look at, now the engine is misfiring and is borderline unsafe to drive. The "mechanic" Mike told me the car is gonna do what it wants to do, what type of excuse is that, Mike also told me that a misfiring engine is not unsafe. Crazy stuff being told by these scammers at Precision Auto, if you need window tint or a flat tire fixed, these are your guys, other than that do yourself a favor and find a company that actually knows that they're doing and honors their warranties. This shop is not honoring it's warranty and gave me back a badly misfiring dangerous engine. I am currently in the process of suing the company to get a least some of my money back.

These guys are crooks and will take advantage to you. They do NOT honor their warranties, they leave your car in worse shape then when it comes in. If you need some window tint or a flat tire fixed, this is your shop. Otherwise take your car to real professionals, these guys are clowns and I'm shocked they actually have a customer base. I repeat, these guys are not competent on harder jobs, your car and wallet will suffer if you use these scam artists.

Frank told us from the start he had a machine that would detect exactly what was wrong with our 2002 Ford F150 truck. We took it to him telling him what 3 codes the truck was showing. When we picked it up drove away and still had the same exact problems and codes from when we first took it to Precision. We were told to take it back there, that same day three times we did. The last time (and. 3rd time) we took it back we were told theres nothing else that they could do for us. That was after us paying $2000 only to not have the truck fixed and still have the same problem. I would not suggest Precision to anybody.

Daughter brought car in for inspection and was told work was completed. No quote had been given, tried to add on repairs for more money. Car had to be worked on two more times before leaving business. After leaving belt broke. Car was towed, another inspection showed transmission box hanging. Owner of Precision admitted to problems then got angry and said warranty would not be honored. Another belt broke, another tow and it was discovered there is even more damage was done. Calls made and always hung up on.Services: Engine repair
