DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!! 7 trips to shop in 7 months of owning a 2023 vehicle, and Nissan Carson City does nothing! Read their terrible response, their learning opportunity doesn't solve that I have a lemon.This dealership sold me a 2023 lemon Rogue that has serious engine issues and odometer fraud. Take a look at the attached BBB response which admits they don't disclose issues and trick buyers into paying top dollar. Other reviews tell you they offer a 'vehicle discount' for a 5 star review, which is tampering. Buyer, please steer clear!!!No need to read further if you’re short on time, but here is a timeline of events if you want the horrifying details how this dealership conducts business:8/21/23: Nissan Carson City learns that I am leaving town on a cross country trip the next day. Service Mark Hilderbrand lies to me about my current 2008 Rogue that it has serious transmission issues and wouldn’t make the trip, I should buy a new car. My friend purchased my 2008 Rogue, and there are no transmission issues.Sales Ben Smith and Carlos Escobedo sell me a 2023 Rogue with one previous owner without disclosing an engine and axel replacement in March 2023 along with the odometer fraud, 26k reported on CARFAX and they sold it to me at 7k miles. They didn’t explain why it couldn’t be a certified pre-owned vehicle with all the issues.9/12/23: Finance department Manuel Meza says he made a mistake and needs $5k more and is holding my title. I noticed the car wasn’t getting great fuel mileage but still had no idea how bad the vehicle was, so I paid the $5k to get the title.9/28/23: Check Engine light comes on in the 2023 vehicle, and now I realize I was sold a lemon. I try to call Sales Manager Ron Wells, who avoids my calls. I actually spoke to Ron 10/2 by having a good Samaritan trick him into a call. He says nothing to me except “we didn’t make much money on this, call Nissan Warranty”. Service Mark H. also refuses to provide me with the service history on this lemon vehicle.10/3/23: Nissan Warranty/Customer Service provides me with no assistance .10/18/23: I learn of the engine and axel replacement from another Nissan dealer, and schedule my lemon for more service for the serious thermostat issues 6 months after the engine replacement. I emailed Manuel Meza and Ben Smith, but neither have helped.10/27/23: Service Jack Zellner refuses to provide me with my full car service history, but does give me a receipt from July 2023 that states “CANT DO CPO AS PREVIOUS RO’S WERE WRITTEN WITH A HIGHER MILEAGE SHOWS IN CAR FAX” which proves that they were aware of the odometer fraud before they sold me the car.11/13/23: Back in the shop with my faulty 2023 Rogue with engine issues. Still waiting for Nissan Carson City to make things right. I also learned at this shop that there are a lot of new Rogues with issues and I was way overcharged. Other Nissan owners in the waiting rooms can't believe the story.11/25/23: Lemon Rogue broke down on my way to a family birthday party. I missed the party, had to call for a tow, and am without a vehicle again! I'm now at a month in the shop with this lemon, only 4 months of ownership.2/1/24: Back in the shop with a recall.Using this as an opportunity to improve doesn't correct that you socked me with a lemon. I still want a refund!!3/23/24: Check engine light back on! 7 months of ownership and 7 trips to the shop, Nissan Carson City stole $35k of my money!

Mark from the service department helped me with my key fine. He paid for it and he has always been kind and knowledgeable! Mark is an excellent service writer! He has always been polite to me. I will forever be a Nissan owner. Ron the store Manager has always come out to say hi to me when I come here!
