“John Dooley is an amazing financial advisor. He has advised us on many financial decisions we have made. I have personally recommended him to friends and family. He is thoughtful, intelligent and up-to-date on many matters that can help everyone make the right decisions for where they want to be financially. His office is set up for face to face meetings (right now socially distanced of course) or meetings through phones or computers. John can assist with IRAs, ROTH IRAs, stocks, bonds, money market funds, personal accounts, joint accounts, just about anything having to do with making your money work for you. He can also help you be aware of some of the tax implications of certain decisions. If you are looking for someone to help you with financial decisions, I highly recommend John Dooley!”

“We have been clients with John for over 10 years. We moved to Phoenix, AZ and continue with Mr Merkouris. Cheryl, his office manager is wonderful as well. Honesty and dependability two words that come to mind. So, if looking for a financial advisor I highly recommend John. Happy Nevada Day Carson City! (Nevada Day 10/31/64 when President Lincoln signed Nevada as a State. Always puts a smile on my face.”

“On Tuesday, November 13, 2018, I went to the Greater Nevada Credit Union branch located in Carson High School on N. Saliman Road. In order to use this branch, unless you are a student or staff member there, you first must check in to the high school office in the front of the building, towards the right as you enter. You also must realize this branch is only open during school hours, since it is primarily for the high school staff and students. So they close early, and are also closed during school breaks. There is no drive-thru. I am not too sure about the parking, since I parked in one of the few handicapped spots in front on the main access road by the high school lobby, but I think there are other spaces for parallel parking for short-term visitors. You then have to walk up the walkway and go into the high school office on the front right hand side, rather than through the main entrance doors. It is a little longer walk than for most banks or credit unions, but walking is good. So after you check in at the office, you walk down the hallway into the school and then turn right into the first hallway that intersects. Then the credit union is at the end of that hallway, on the right. It is small branch. There were two or three student tellers there. They were talking and not paying attention. The adult bank employee at the sole desk on the right had to tell them to stop goofing off. The adult employee then offered to help me since I was not a student there I guess. I sat down at her desk and she processed the three deposits I had. She was very nice and professional. The only minor complaint I had was the deposit receipts printed out very lightly, which made it hard for me to scan them at home. Otherwise, I was very happy. This branch is convenient to me, so I will use it in the future when they are open and take pictures then. ------------------- UPDATE 2/8/2019: 5 stars On Friday, February 8, 2019 I went to this location again. There were four handicapped parking spots right in fron of the building, two of which were occupied. On the other side of the access road, there were multiple parallel parking spots on the yellow curb, limited to 25 minutes. The only problem was it was hard to see the yellow curb since it was covered by snow. Checking in at the high school office was quick and easy, as there was no line this time. The office employee asked me if I knew where the credit union was, and I said yes. She then buzzed me into the high school hallway. Then, at the credit union branch office, there were two student tellers. I went to one, ad the adult employee got up and helped him process my deposit. She was very nice and we made small talk. I was happy both students acted maturely. I then sat down briefly to check in to Yelp and then left.”

“I am working with Dominic at KBCA and he is on fire! Him and his team have just saved me thousands of dollars my previous accountant missed. I love my old accountant but see now it was a pricey relationship. KBCA has a first class team that will help you through any complicated scenario. If you have a business or any complicated tax needs, go to KBCA and Randy Kuckenmeister (did I mention Dominic the rock star) and his first class team will help you and most likely put dollars in your pocket! I highly recommend this group.”

“I dropped in unannounced during tax time to see if I could get my taxes done and Michael was gracious and accommodating. He had my taxes filed in no time and I was very happy with the outcome after trying to do them myself on an online tax site and coming out with a very different answer. He will be seeing me in the upcoming tax seasons!”
