As new dog owners, my family and I were fortunate to start our journey with a lively and exuberant Labrador puppy named Toby. These two know what they’re doing. I saw a big change in my dog right away because he knew what I wanted during heel. I have a reactive dog and was a little desperate. now I can communicate quickly what I need from him. My life and his are much better now. Highly recommend!

Wilderness training with Custom K-9 gave me confidence in learning how to handle tough situations and enjoy the positive moments. The weekend reset my relationship with my pup and myself! The personal attention and patience made me feel confident to try, fail, try again and again. By the end of the weekend, I was rejuvenated after 2 COVID years attached to my computer and ready to explore! I can't wait to do another session.

I wish I could give a true report of service offered for this dog training service, but unfortunately they never called back or tried any form of contact. Apparently their business is doing so well that they ignore all request for new training services. If you are serious about finding a dog training program this is not one you need to check out.

Kendall and Chandler have changed our lives. They are honestly the best dog trainers around. #mydogtrainerisbetterthenyours. Our dog diesel would not be who he is without their guidance. They always answer a text or phone call no matter what day of the week it is. Their knowledge is amazing. We love Custom K-9!

Kendall and Chandler are a great couple Duo! They have been fantastic I can't speak anymore highly of them. What they have done with help training us and training our dog Lucy have been amazing. They are fun down to earth and very professional. We just love them and got so lucky to have them help us.

These two are amazing. They know what to do to help and when to do it. They are kind, professional, organized, and knowledgeable. They are easy to work with and accessible. The improvements in our dog are incredible. We have learned so much and love the changes in our dog and in us. We cannot recommend these two enough. I am currently working worth Custom K-9. I have several dogs each with their own issues. Kindal and Chandler are knowledgeable, flexible and great teachers. They helped me understand the problems from my dogs point of view which can be quite different between breeds. They are nonjudgmental and their training approach is customized to you and your dogs. I highly recommend Custom K-9 for any training need.

AMAZING at both the dog and human training.We noticed a difference immediately with our 6mo old puppy and now we get compliments regularly on how well behaved he is (he is 8mo old now)We, our puppy’s humans, don’t learn as quickly as he does and Kendall and Chandler are as adept training the humans as they are the dogs.We are working with them privately as well as in the weekly group class and are so happy with our decision to train with them.Note: we also really like them as people too ?

I have been working with Custom k-9 for almost 3 years off and on, and I love what I have been learning about my dog! Yes it's dog training - but as an owner I have learned how to communicate with my dog for optimal training results. I'll be starting my second dog with Custom K-9 and I can't wait for the adventure to begin! It's so great to watch (in my case) a dog that needs some confidence building to flourish. Working with Custom K-9 has been a great experience, from one on one sessions to group classes. We've done all sorts of training including agility courses, public access and generic polite manners.

Kendall and Chandler have been a blessing to my family. They began training me and my Bernedoodle "Miwok" when he was 13 months old. They are highly professional subject matter experts. I have grown from a dog owner to an amateur dog handler. Every lesson begins with a discussion of Miwok's week. We then spend an hour working on skills that we develop together. The lesson ends with a homework assignment. After four months of training, I can take Miwok around town, to Home Depot, camping, vacationing in a dog-friendly hotel, and to visit the grandparents. I highly recommend Custom K-9 Dog Services for all your dog training needs.

Kendall and Chandler are the most patient, informative, hands on and on call trainers I have ever come in contact with. I started working with Kendall and Chandler in June of 2020, I brought to them my 1 year old Bernaussie whom I had solely only trained myself until them. Little did I know there was so much to learn about the basics of obedience, bonding foundations and basic solid commands/ focusing. As my dogs skills strengthened and his basics became more solid within everyday life, we started his much anticipated training in medical task work. Not only do Kendall and Chandler teach you as a handler how to handle your own dog, but they also specialize in transforming your dog into a service dog if needed. And for me that was a dream come true. Amazing trainers, amazing techniques, and amazing learning for a dog handler.

Kendall and Chandler have been wonderful with our Golden Retriever. We started a few months ago and Shelby is doing very well. Indoor and outdoor behavior has improved significantly. Custom K-9's knowledge about both human and K-9 behavior is the real difference for me. They explained to us our dog's behavior in a clear manner that has allowed us to effectively train our dog. They also make our training sessions fun by performing our sessions in different places and scenarios. Outdoor and in store training along with some confidence drills have been excellent for us in developing Shelby's behavior.

Life changing, wonderful, personalized work! Kendall trained my service dog, Watson, in one of the first iterations of Custom K-9's raise-and-train program. He is an incredible service dog, with discipline and skills beyond what we could've hoped and a migraine alert that is pretty reliable. Kendall worked with me and Watson for about a week at the very beginning, to hand him off to me and to help me to make us a perfect team. He's wonderful at public access and thanks to Kendall I have felt comfortable working him from the very start. Her approach focused not only on dogs but on dog-owner or dog-handler teams, which proves effective and helps dogs and people grow and learn together. Watson got me graduating college in four years, which would've been impossible without him and Kendall's help. We've gone back for moments to re-up the training and both Kendall and Chandler were hugely helpful in helping me figure out what I need to do and how to keep my dog in tip top shape. Kendall is always there to ask any questions that come up, perfect at balancing the needs of training the animal and helping handlers. I watched the Custom K9 team work with other dogs while I was visiting with Watson, and saw incredible patience and attention to the very specific needs and affinities of dogs and their people. I couldn't recommend them higher.
