I have brought 3 of my vehicles to this shop. All 3 vehicles have been picked up and broken and had to be towed home or had check engine lights. As soon as I got it back. I had an engine replaced in my car. I took them months to put the engine in And the 5 months of their labor was not included in the 12 month. Warranty that I paid $1200 for on the engine.
Was leaking oil missing parts. This shop is not trustworthy. Shannon is a car salesman and has no experience whatsoever any automotive repair industry. I have been a technician for 15 years and used to work at this shop when I was in high school. It used to be reliable and trustworthy. If you want your car fixed go to drew's automotive repair drew no longer works at this shop. And they have been making money off of drews reviews. Brian, they're lead. Tech has been fired from every shop in our area from my understanding Long story short if you want your car repaired by a phenomenal Tech. Who kept this shop running for years go to Drew's automotive. I have given Carson service center over $28000. To have my car's not fixed or broken.
And had shannon blame me. And told me it was my fault that my car was broken.

I've been coming to Carson service center for years, they are very honest,& upstanding, if u have any issues afterward they get u right back in ,& take care of whatever the problem is, everyone of the techs are very knowledgeable.??? I'm a lifer, lol, Shannon, & frank are the reasons I also keep coming back. They back their products,& care emensely about their customers, & anyone who says otherwise, is just a disgrutled person , & is a miserable soul anyway. If your want a 5 star performance bring your car, truck, whatever you have, no job is to big,
I also have a excursion, & the transmission went out, it ended up being a manufacturer's defect,& they replaced it very quickly excellent service no questions asked, I'm very picky,& my vehicles mean alot to me, u never have to worry about being ripped off or over priced come to Carson service center for excellent people, & service hands down 5+ ????????

This is absolutely the best shop in Carson City! Shannon is wonderful. She truly cares about the customers and takes the time to thoroughly explain every detail. The mechanics are great as well. If you want an honest reliable mechanic, with excellent customer service. Go to Carson Service Center.

Saw me at the front desk and after 10 minutes had not even called out a "be right with you". So I called the shop and they said they could help me out in a few hours - wouldn't even come chat in person. So I went across the street to Mario's and got helped immediately (for a cheaper estimate) by people who acknowledged me immediately when I entered.

Was supposed to only service the fuel system, but kept trying to sell me more work my nissan frontier. I already replaced all that they tried to sell me more to work on. Had to have carson towing pick up my frontier from the auto shop,tow driver saying that starter not working and tried to jump start the truck but nothing worked. towtruck driver said the shop personnel would refuse to help push the truck out of the carlot to get the frontier positioned to the tow truck.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Brought my car here after it was having trouble starting. car ended up there for over a month and $7k later still won't start. Put a new engine in with a. 3 month warranty. The engine immediately leaked the oil pan was missing a bolt I had a mechanic look over the work who said it's the worst he's seen in a long time. After bringing it back with warranty they said leaks aren't covered and charged my another $500 for the oil housing filter leak. The car leaked over 1.5 liters of oil in my driveway over a month. They let me leave the shop one time with my car because I needed it for work back in South Lake Tahoe didn't let me know not to put it over 4000 rpm's. These people don it care about your car and some of the worst customer service you'll ever come across. Over the past 3 months I've called them over 20 times and received a total of 2 calls. They do not care about your car I got pulled over leaving the lot due to a taillight out. Nothing is torqued to manufacture standards. My initial quote was for $1100 to fix the car. $7k later the car still Doesn't start and they missed the original issue of alternator. I even had to show The employee how to clear a code on his scanner. I would pay the guy with the beard not to work on my car. His attitude is worthless and left a wrench/ towel in my cowel and never put the cover back on I was driving around with a wrench and towel (fire hazard). You want Professional service this is not the place. Mechanics Use the wrong screws use cheap oreillys parts and non-oem sensors etc.

I wish I could give these guys 10 stars! Honest, very honest guys here. They did a diagnostic on my CRV and told me exactly what was wrong with it. Other shops lied so much! One shop (HONDA) lied to my face saying my engine lost compression. It was bs! All it needed was 2 new oxygen sensors and new spark plugs. It runs like a champ!!! I was selling it, but not anymore! Thanks guys, Dave, from Wild Bills up the street!

Went in with a bent rod. They do not do in depth engine work at this shop so I had to replace the engine. Fine is what it is 5k later I was driving away. Didn't make it 36 miles up the road and had a battery light so I checked and saw the belt for the alternator was not on. I swung by an oriellys and replaced it. No harm no foul. But I would expect that to be taken care of . When I called to inform the manager he told me he put it on and that the car wouldn't have made it. As an ase certified mechanic for the past 7 years I know a vehicle can still run withought the battery charging. Just the battery will die before to long. I wasn't looking for money or him to fix it. I just wanted to inform him but even with pictures he didn't believe me. Then I have asked multiple times for some sort of paperwork or proof that they purchased an engine from a company and didn't just say they did. They will not call back or return my messages requesting a simple piece of paperwork. The car is running but I will not be back. Hence the 3 stars for completing the job (sorta) and the inability to show me paperwork that should be no problem getting.

I came from San Diego and my car was misfiring.'I called at 8am Ans spoke with Juan. He said he was busy but he would take a look since he knew I was stranded. After trial and error they were able to find the problem. He replaced the bad coils immediately and I was able to drive back to San Diego. This place was truly a blessing. I couldn't be more grateful! Definitely recommend this for any service needs.
