I reached out to Carson City Hyundai to see if a specific vehicle being advertised was still available. I received a couple emails from both the Internet sales employee and Carson City Hyundai employee that the vehicle is available to see. I was contacted by Valerri to come view/test drive a Hyundai Santa Fe Limited vehicle today. I made an appointment to only find out after an hour of driving, that the vehicle was not available to see or test drive. A complete waste of time! Why not just tell me when to come? Such a scam. This type of customer service is not ok.

Worked with Gregg. I wasn't 100% sure that I was a buyer, but he made the process seamless and fun. This was one of the lowest stress car buying experiences that I've had.

I bought a 2022 certified electric Kona over 2 months ago and still don't have the registration. There were back taxes due on this car and the proper paperwork wasn't provided to me. After 2+ months I still don't have the registration or plates. This resulted in missing out on an electric car rebate. The purchasing process wasn't great either as they were not knowledgeable about promo financing available through Hyundai and also were "too busy" on multiple occasions to finalize purchasing paperwork and stood up scheduled phone calls. I like the car, not this terrible experience.

Nate Tenney assisted me when purchasing my new car - all online and from another city! He was really great to work with - quickly responsive and went above and beyond to help me get the car shipped, which is not something they usually do. Being able to purchase a car from home was really the way to do it! Reach out to Nate - he'll take care of you. The whole dealership was wonderful to work with and honest. A great experience overall!

First thing you see on their website is "no dealer markup". Second thing you see when you click on a car is "$795 perma-plate" mandatory charge. So almost $800 for a wash and application of something that nobody knows what it is (hint, it's not ceramic). No thanks.

This is the second dealer to use "spot financing" that I have encountered. Also known as " yo-yo" financing. The way it works is that when you fill out and sign the loan contract, for a specific loan rate and you take the car home the dealer calls you. It may be days or a week. They tell you the interest rate you signed for cannot be had and the buyer must come back and sign new loan papers for a higher interest rate!. REMEMBER, the dealers make a percentage of the loan they get you. Do NOT EVER TAKE POSESsiON OF THE CAR, DO NOT GIVE A DOWN PAYMENT OR TRADE UNTIL THE DEAL IS FINAL!!! CALL THE LENDER AND BE SURE. THE NEVADA DEALERS ARE MAKING A KILLING ON THIS FRAUDULENT PRACTICE!. BETTER YET, GET YOUR OWN FINANCING FIRST. DONT BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY AT THE DEALER, NOR PIN STRIPES, NOR COATINGS OR ETCHINGS.. Also, don't allow the dealer to run a credit check until a price is agreed to. This dings your credit..

I just want to start off by saying I have no issues with my local Huyndai itself, but with the customer service/case management division itself for Hyundai!! My ONLY vehicle broke down in the middle of no where OR a few weeks ago so I had it towed to the nearest Hyundai dealership so that it could be somewhere not only safe but also if the vehicles service was under the warranty I didnt want it to go anywhere else. I spoke to a woman named Adrian who was assigned as our case manager and in NO WAY did she try to even lift a finger to help us, right away when I told her our issue she researched our Warranty and first didnt even have the right information saying we didnt have one, but once she did finally have the correct information blunty said that the issue with the vehicle wasnt covered under the Warranty and couldnt help us! I than reached out to the customer care line trying to go above her and speak with HER supervisor and they said "I couldnt!?" What kind of crap is that!? When your having an issue with one representative you should have the right to speak to someone else! I mentioned my situationat that time to that customer representative who in turn suggested a "special tow" something that Adrian didnt even think to mention when trying to get this situation taken care of, once I mentioned that, she said, "oh, ya your situation could probably be eligible for that, give me until Monday at the latest, which she told me last Thursday so I can get with my supervisor to approve this and I will get back to you by Monday at the latest with the determination" She didnt call me on Monday, or on Tuesday so I called her back several times and left voicemails until I had enough and re-called customer care. They had to be the ones to tell me that there was a note in the system that she would get back to me by Thursday, Adrian didnt even have the common curiosity to send me an email or phone call, NOTHING to say it would be a few more days! They absolutely do not give a shit about its customers unless we have the HIGHEST warranty on the vehicles you sell! I purchased an EXTENDED PLATNIUM Warranty on the vehicle when asked if we wanted it so as to cover anything that went wrong with the car!!!! We chose Huyndai to buy our vehicle from hearing great things about the customer service and all the great options for service etc and not ONE TIME in the last 4 plus years that we have owned this vehicle have we had ANY issues! AND when something out of our control heappens that could have been potentially very dangerous had we not acted quickly and pulled iver to the side of the road, they would not help AT ALL! I broke down in the middle on NO WHERE and all I wanted is for the vehicle to be towed to where I live so I could get it fixed!!!! Which I also have to pay out of pocket because apparently the one thing that wasnt covered under our warranty wasnt covered. This is our ONLY CAR!! and they didnt have ANY COMPASSION AT ALL TO TRY AND HELP! Adrian just tossed our case to the side once she saw that our issue with the vehicle wasnt covered under the warranty and decided they didnt want to assist us from that point at all! Adrian's non-chaluntness and lack of empathy was ASTOUNDING! Not only have I spent thousands of dollars on getting the vehicle just towed to the nearest town weeks ago, several hundred dollars on rental vehicles just so I can take care of things for my family, but now ALSO have to spend another several hundred dollars to fix the vehicle AND find a way to get back to OR to pick up the AGAIN the ONLY vehicle we have!!!

I had the pleasure of working with Gregory DePhillipis (car salesman) and JT while buying my car and they were wonderful! Ask to work with Gregory! He made me feel comfortable and didn’t overwhelm me or make me feel like he was trying to shove a car down my throat. I looked around a lot and had vehicles in mind. We talked about price range and he showed me a car that I ended up falling in love with, and bought it after my test drive. I adore my new car and can’t say how happy I am with my purchase! I had gone to the Nissan across the street (down a ways) and had a salesman trying to cram a car above my price limit down my throat and was extremely overwhelmed by the end of it.Thank you Gregory & JT so much for your help!!

After getting pressure at the Nissan dealership, here...Craig was awesome, no pressure, and didn't make is feel like we needed to make a decision NOW.But got us a great deal on a phenomenal vehicle.Finished up the process with JT, all smooth and informative.Definitely recommend!

I was extremely disappointed by what I heard and how I was treated at this dealership. The sales manager, Brett said he didn't like selling cars to people from California (for many reasons), "they wire money and we never see them, they don't use our service dept".. who tells a prospective buyer they don't like a particular type of customer?! And the finance guy, overheard me chatting w salesman and chimed in, only to turn his back to me and walk away while I was speaking to him! I own a hyundai and will never do business there after this last experience!

Was treated horribly by a salesman and he attempted to kick me out due to the fact that he didn't want to "jump through hoops" to get me a car. I had a cosigner which should have been a standard process that any experienced salesman could have closed the deal on. Unfortunately for me I got stuck with a guy who was lazy and did not want to do his job. His Boss had to step in and tell him to complete the paper work. Long-story short he never ended ip running the credit and I left the place feeling horrible. Would not recommend this place on the off chance that you get Jeff trying to "sell" you a car. Do your job bro.

I bought a 2024 Tucson 9/20/23 and I just had to give kudos to Tyler at Carson City Hyundai. He made the process seamless. He is so knowledgeable about the car. No one has ever taken the time he took and answered all my questions. Buying a car is such a pain but he made it a pleasure.
