I don’t normally write reviews; however, Val did such an amazing job in helping me find a vehicle, that I wanted to share this awesome experience. Val made the whole sales process easy and enjoyable. She listened to everything we had to say and worked hard to ensure I was able to purchase the exact vehicle that I wanted and for an amazing deal! She was patient, kind and an all around joy to be around. She went the extra mile in making sure to go over everything several times with me and my mom. I’m so grateful we were able to work with her!

This review is not an easy one to write. I am giving a five star review to our salesman, specifically. Our salesman Tyler was wonderful in every way possible. We do not believe he is responsible for the unpleasant circumstance we faced. He has even said to come back and he will give further support if needed. Although, this five star review has nothing to do with the Hyndai manager, Bret. I would give him even 1 star based on my experience.
As a manager, disrespect was part of his communication style. I wonder if it is because I am woman. Yes, I was vocal about the attempt to give us the short end of the stick. Yes, I felt belittled, bullied and threatened. At one point, he even refused to speak to me and would only speak to my significant other. As a woman, I felt mistreated and the disrespect yielded towards me was appalling. After all, we were buying a 2024 vehicle from Carson Hyandai. I don’t even think he said, “Thank you.”
This all emerged because we questioned additional fees that we believe were conjugated unfairly by the manager. We still do! This is why we have reached out to the owner, John Napoleon. The fact Brett took pride in saying, “My job is to make a profit for the owner,” this comment has lead to a quandary. I thought customer service and relationship are important as well to the owner of any business. Hopefully, we will hear from the dealership that he wants his manager to give the best customer service, develop positive relationships with customers and to endeavor to enhance the business so it thrives financially. It’s unfortunate that this manager does not recognize customers as stakeholders. Only seeing the owner as a stakeholder is pretty short sided. I trust I will be able to update this review after further discussion with the dealership.

If I could give zero stars I would. Was working with James Dehaven for several weeks about buying my car. He offered $29,000, and when I drove down from Reno to close the deal, the business manager said only 25,000 was possible. Very dishonest and very disrespectful of my time. I would never shop there again and would never encourage anybody to go there.

I drove up from Vegas and purchased my new 24 Sante Fe Calligraphy Hybrid awd! Valerri was a pleasure to work with. The dealership was accommodating and comfortable. A great car buying experience all together.
I got a fair deal on my trade in and overall happy with my purchase. This was the only dealership in the entire state of Nevada that had the model I wanted. Worth the drive! Thanks again Valerri! You were great ?

We were looking for a new vehicle for my daughter and her family. We couldn’t find the Palisade that we wanted anywhere in California, so expanded the search to Northern Nevada. Finally found one at Carson City Hundai and worked with Nate Tenney to buy it online. Nate was super helpful, we must have spoke on the phone a dozen times working through the process of finding the exact vehicle…finally landing on a Palisade Calligraphy Night Edition. Picked it up and drove it home Friday night. Thanks Nate for everything, you are the best!

Our transmission went out and we needed a car ASAP. We got in contact with Val at Carson City Hyundai and she made everything smooth and easy. We found a used Subaru, and she did almost all the leg work before we even got there. We were in and out within an hour.

EVERYONE is so nice. The service team thoroughly explains everything and makes sure I’m well taken care of. It feels like everyone goes out of their way to make the customer happy. Every interaction has been positive so far.

Excellent customer service and a no pressure environment, great quality cars Tyler is an awesome salesman went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our purchases. 2 cars in a year 2023 Santa Fe last July. And a 2024 Sanota last week . Amazing dealership.
