These guys were great on a Friday emergency repair. Most of the Carson City mechanics are along US50 (mosts were busy packed with reserved work (reservations the following week)).These guys made time to accommodate my need for spark plug replacement. Their repair work was good as checked later by my regular mechanics the following Monday.These guys saved me time having to stay the weekend.

Amazing service! The guys who work the shop are so nice. I needed a new battery during a snow storm and they took me in under short notice! They even let me purchase my own battery somewhere else, and they installed it for me. Thank you!

Called them on a Thursday, they said if I got the truck to them on Friday, it would be done by Monday. Well, I drove it down, and watched it sit there for a week, unmoved or worked on. Stopped by (wouldn't answer the phone) to check on it. They tried to feed me more Shitake than an Asian Buffet! Decided to be patient (a rare commodity in my life) and gave then a couple more days. Finally, Monday morning of the third week, got someone on the phone and they said it was done. I asked them why they didn't bother to call me to come pick it up. "Oh, we're too busy" Avoid like an STD.

I took my car here for a timing belt issue, they said it could not be fixed, there was no compression to the engine, had it towed to another mechanic at the cost of another 100.00, on top of the 450.00 that American Automotive Center charged me. Turned out they did not bother to check the timing. No Thanks to them and thank you to the other Mechanic that actually knows what they were doing. my car is running great!DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLEI am going down tomorrow and demanding a refund!Wendy L Cauch

When our van broke down on the side of the road while vacationing right outside of south lake we couldn't find a local shop to help us. We were staying in Genoa so we tried shops in Carson city. Paul agreed and was so patient with my stressed begging and happily agreed to take our car. With fires and Covid causing shortages and shipping problems we were unsure if the car would be done before we had to check out. But Carson City Automotive came through! I wish such a great shop was local to us. I would definitely trust them if we were lived near by and highly recommend them! Thanks guys for putting up with my multiple check in's and for being so kind.

I had to return 3 times for three separate repairs over an 8 month period. That's 9 trips with a 3 hour turnaround In two cars. Cooling system had everything replaced as they searched for a leak. Each time I returned home the fluid was gone from the reservoir. Three trips each were also required for exhaust and AC. Bolts were left off and/or loose, tools were left in and around the vehicle, and low effort occurred even after I asked Paul Sr. to inspect work before delivery. It never should have taken 8 months for repairs. I should not have had to pay for employee mistakes and when I asked for compensation I was flat out denied. COVID-19 or whatever, I should have been comped. Point is they had the car from last snow to first snow. One thing that did go correct was Paul Jr.'s work on my carburetor, but even then a vacuum hose was left off, which I had to install.

Lost our water pump heading to Vancouver WA ? - Martin ordered the part right away. His guys had the old component pulled before it arrived! They got us back on the road in under 3 hours!
