This use to be the best place! We have been driving an hour every vet visit over the years just to bring our pups to Dr.D, who sadly no longer works here. He cared, was attentive, understanding and communicated like an actual doctor. The past 3 visits that we have scheduled to have our dog's leg checked up on (she broke her leg) we would arrive and Dr.H (the owner) would tell us to come back Wednesday. After this last visit i said no. Why are we scheduled if the doctor we're suppose to see isn't here. He proceeded to tell me that I'm suppose to request the appropriate doctor. I'm sorry, what??? Your staff should know who to schedule your clients with, sir! Especially since we've only seen YOU for her! The splint in my dogs cast cracked completely in half and fell out if the bottom of the cast (edges were sharp and jagged) 2 days prior to this past visit. Dr.H, the OWNER told me that it is fine and to leave it another 2 weeks. I expressed to him that I was worried that if she jumped and moved a certain way that it would cut her leg. He proceeded to argue with me that she shouldn't be jumping anyway. I said the emergency center said it should've already been rewrapped for sanitary reasons. Continued arguing. I expressed that the cast had been wet, now the splint is broken and I wanted it changed. He said he's seen casts in worst conditions and dogs have come in who have swam in them and they're fine after minutes of going back and forth, he eventually took her back and did place another bandage on her BUT this is what should've been done WITHOUT the arguing with your client. So unprofessional. After I left my husband called and requested that the xrays they took that day be sent over so that we could take her to a vet that actually cares about the animals and can professionally communicate to clients. Whatever Dr H said to his staff after I left put the receptionist in a bad mood apparently. Dr H called to let us know that we were no longer welcome back. What a great DOCTOR you are SMH! Beware when taking your animals here! If you pay for radiology or any kind of expensive procedures, request to see the documents. They will charge you but not even perform them! Sad to see this place go down hill. We won't be back and I advise other people to be very cautious when bringing your pets here.

The UNgreatful pet clinic was absolutely the worst experience so far being a first time pet owner. I had read the not so good reviews and decided to give it a chance to try and keep my business local.... Huge Mistake! The doctor we saw was rude, aggressive, and didn't even sanitize or wash his hands before touching our brand new pup. He also tried to use scare tactics to get us to do more vaccinations than we as first time pet owners felt comfortable with instead of trying to explain why his opinion was different than what we were told by the breeder vet. The vet assistant complained of how hot it was in the back of the clinic, and that is where they keep the animals. I would never want to leave my animal there in that awful hot clinic! The back office should be temperature controlled for the safety of the animals. To top it off the clinic charged us $8 for medical waste.... They threw away 1 needle and charged us $8 for that! That's outrageous! I understand a small charge but when it only costs less than $30 to dispose and ship 300 needles... that is total robbery! The clinic was very dirty and the staff was rude. Definitely not going back and I recommend never taking your pet here, just an awful experience!

Our 2 year old aussie has been going to the grateful pet since she was just a couple days old. We used to see Dr. Flannery and Dr. D. They were amazing. We never had any problems with them. However, at our recent visit, we saw a new doctor who had horrible manner. He told my husband that telling our dog "good girl" when she calmed down was an inappropriate behavior and that she was feeding off his energy. On top of that, he awarded our dog the most difficult dog of the day. Thank you for that award Dr. H. It's time for us to find a new vet that's closer to home.

I would not go anywhere else…Maria and her team have looked after my Missy for 11yrs. They saved Missy’s life whilst going through auto immune disease…3 and a half months they worked to save her and succeeded against the odds and continue to give her the best care and attention. She’s 14 now and that’s thanks to them. I am so so grateful and trust them implicitly!

Constant upsells, poor customer service and no solutions. My dog developed a lump on her belly after her spayed operations. After multiply visits to address the lump and zero solutions, I no longer feel comfortable taking my pets here.

I took my senior dog here for a paw issue and we had the best experience. It was our first time here so we got a special rate of only $20 and everyone was wonderful. The receptionist, vet tech (Brad) and vet (Dr. D) were amazing. Everything went great and everyone was so kind. I definitely found our new vet!

Had been seeing Dr Dimerjin at grateful pet for my 13 year old Cocker Spaniel. He removed a bunch of warts and did a good job. HOWEVER, after her surgery she went downhill. Stopped eating, was stumbling around, lost weight. We took her back up to see him and MADE them do bloodtests. I wanted to see if she had some sort of an infection. He does the blood test and says her liver enzymes were very high. Prescribed her antibiotics and Lucrelose? A week later we ask to get another blood test to see if her liver values were improving...We wanted to know because if they were we were going to go see a specialist, if not well, you know. HE REFUSED TO DO ANOTHER BLOOD TEST AND SAYS THAT SHE SHOULD BE BETTER BY NOW and to go see a specialist. I FIND THIS ATTITUDE DISGRACEFULAND NEGLIGENT..If we are willing to pay for another test, what difference does it make to him... I will not go to this place ever agajn..Don't trust your animals life to a man with a "She should be better by now" attitude!!!

I received a call to confirm my dog's appointment and asked for pricing because vet visits can get expensive and I wanted to come prepared. I advised the receptionist during the appt confirmation that I didn't want a $45 dollar wellness check (because he had already gotten one on his 10/9/21 appt). I was in the treatment room for maybe ten minutes and he got his shot and they checked his heart beat with a stethoscope and felt around his body (which now I am guessing was the wellness check that I already declined over the phone). So I went to the counter and got charged for the wellness check that I didn't want, along with the rabies shot that they forgot to charge me for last visit. I understand mistakes happen for the rabies charge, but I specifically stated I didn't want the wellness check and was told over the phone that it was understood. I called back later the same day as the appointment voicing my concerns and they said I need to tell them over the phone and then remind them again in person. I don't think that it is reasonable to expect for the customer to make a request over the phone for the appointment and then have to remind the business of said request. My dog's appointment went from $34 dollars to $79 because my wishes weren't applied to the visit. I am still giving three stars because the Vet and Vet Tech were nice. I would just advise to confirm in detail what is planned for the appointment before going into the treatment room to ensure your wishes are being met.
