Get out of the Vegas heat into the Spring Mountain range into a natural venue for a stage-performed play. This is an affordable outing for the family with three different plays every summer utilizing Vegas quality entertainers. You can bring your picnic dinners with you or purchase food on site from several vendors. You will not be disappointed!

This is a jewel in the desert. Well worth the trip and the entrance fee of $3.00. Great place for a picnic too. They have tables throughout the grassy areas. Nice trails , easy to navigate even for small children.
Restrooms: Restroom was clean
Picnic area: Tables in shady areas

A beautiful place to go in the summer. Much cooler than the valley. Great place for families. Go check out Super Summer Theater at the amphitheater!

It was idyllic, green, stunning views. Has picnic tables, wheelchair accessible. Clean restrooms and dog friendly.
Restrooms: Very clean restrooms
Dog-friendliness: As long as your dog is on a leash, they are welcome.
Picnic area: Several picnic tables, including wheelchair accessible tables, plenty green grass, so bring blankets.

Like the concept, they could've built the stage higher and wider. The staff protecting all aspects of the event from the parking to unfortunate disruptive individuals is stellar. Maybe restrict some chairs, hammocks should stay at home, it's distracting. Great shows, fantastic ensembles. It's a growing valley, some more bathrooms might be good.

This was such an unexpected environment. It made me feel like I was in the midwest, lush and full of greenery. Not to mention the amazing talent that was on display in the Red Barn, The Little Mermaid. I hope I get the opportunity to go back again.

Very nice state park, secluded away from just about everything and you can fish at Eagle Valley Reservoir. You can camp at Horse Thief Gulch campground as well

We were here for summer theater and it was a great venue for this. Even in spite of how hard parks and natural areas can be for disabled individuals, this had parking and some paved walks that made it possible.
Restrooms: There are decent restrooms that were clean and stocked on the night we were there. All the ones I used were handicap accessible.

Beautiful area with the desert mountains towering over you. Great at dusk once the sun goes behind them. Not to far out of town if you're trying to get away from the hustle of the city.
$10 per car to enter but it goes to maintaining the place

Try Red Rock Discovery Guided Tours with JT. His depth of knowledge seems inexhaustible. He took us on a tour of the ranch and its surprising history was very interesting on many levels, but his explanations of the natural history, including how natives and Settlers survived in the barren beauty was great. Caution to those unfamiliar with desert conditions... hydrate MORE than you think is necessary and wear a hat.
Restrooms: The ranch has a public restroom. Again, if you are hydrating properly you will be grateful for this facility

What a beautiful setting. We went to see a play here and I had a chance to walk around some while it was still light.
