The pizza I got this evening was the worst I have had

This store has been around for at least 25 years, maybe closer to 30. The store hasn’t really changed much. The freshly made food is great, especially the pizza, product is usually stocked, and current employees are nice. But it’s very small and almost impossible to enter or leave when truck comes. They block the entire door and have to move over when someone needs in/out. It might be the only way to deliver, which stinks because unloading truck can be a real pain for employees and customers. Kudos to the management team who there with everyone else working to get the product in fast. I hate to bother them when I get my morning coffee and breakfast pizza. They are always very kind when I need to enter and leave, I appreciate them. With several other stores getting fresh updates or new buildings I was hopeful WR would get a new building or something more.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is unclear where the vehicles go to unload someone from the car, with out lines in the lot you can’t tell if there is a handicap spot. There is one on the side of the store, but if you don’t know it’s there unless you are looking for it.

I went to get pizza and a water. They don't have water in there fountain machine unfortunately but I was able to get a good slice of pizza.

Pizza has really gone down hill in Wood River and since we are in wheelchairs we cannot go the the one near Alda on hwy 30. To bad Casey's doesn't deliver

One of the better Casey's in the area as far as service is concerned. The staff is typically pleasant, friendly and helpful. On occasion there's a lapse with pizza and other food items being in the warmer ready to be purchase though that's usually not the case. My main issue is the store itself. It's a smaller building that is outdated and outgrown. Compact and lacking atmosphere. Also, there's only one restroom for customers to use. They do a nice job in the kitchen here. Call well in advance prior to ordering pizza during busy times as they can be taking lots of orders.

this place is a joke i live out of state and stopped in for food and the customer service was so bad, workers had snarky comments and were not smart or friendly people, the cashier didnt even know how to place an order for my food and was interrupting me and not listening. like i said i live out of state, (which she knew because she asked for my area code 6 times) and they didnt bother to explain the food ordering process to me at all, the cook was just complaining from the kitchen.

This pizza is like god. I swear. My only problem is the atmosphere of the place. It is highly uncomfortable, however I also have high anxiety that is triggered by pizza places. Not sure if that makes a difference but this place is great and does the job too well...

My only complaint about this particular store is the restroom. There is only one restroom and it is unisex so the line can be a little long at times. Its also kind of embarrassing that it is so close to the cash register.

So, this evening, I went into Casey's Store in Wood River, NE...I believe it's store #2606. Anyways, I told the guy in the kitchen that the pizza looked super scrumptious. His name was Jose. He proceeded to tell me that, "he didn't give a f*** what I thought" and that, "he didn't give a f*** about me at all", among other obscenities. Well, it's a small town, so we've seen each other around. But I have no idea what caused this man to react to my compliment in the way that he did. Maybe because he's short, so he's mad. I dunno. I bit my tongue and walked to the refrigerator, then to the cash register. He cockily walked up to the counter, next to the cashier that was checking me out, and he just stared at me. Way to make a guy uncomfortable. How unprofessional. I don't know why a store as awesome as Casey's has a guy like this working for them. Booooo.
