I love going here every season. You can really enjoy getting lost in nature. There are lots of seed pods and berries in the winter. Moss and small greenery are still thriving under a thick blanket of leaves.

If you are from out of state I'd steer clear, we arent welcome here. As a disabled Veteran, Nebraska has been the least welcoming state during my travels. You'll get charged double for being out of state and they offer no veteran discount. The parks aren't even in the condition to pay the amount they are asking for.

Love heading out to Two Rivers SRA for an afternoon hike. It's close enough to west Omaha to take a sandwich for a picnic, then take a walk around the lake or through the woods. Plenty of campsites for any size trailer. The dump station has been redone, and now has four areas to empty your trailer.Dog-friendliness: Dogs on leashes are welcome. Plenty aloft areas to smell.

Great option for an Omaha visit. Tip: for a fall visit (when it’s typically slower) check ahead for their Halloween event! Fills up fast.Restrooms: Clean restrooms and shower house.

I towed my travel trailer from Underwood, IA out here this afternoon for a walk-up site next to the lake. I pulled through the sites and found a gentleman packing up at site #22 so I stopped and talked to him to confirm he was leaving and he said "yes, I am" so I went to the office at 133p.m. to be there for the 2p.m. check out so I could rent the site. I walked up to the clerk and said I would like to rent site #22 and she says you have to put your name on this wait list because I can't rent it until 3 because their is another person in front of you. So I asked where are they because I don't see anyone outside waiting with an RV, Travel trailer, or a vehicle that has a tent. She says we'll they were here at 12:30p.m. and put their name on the waiting list for that site. I said where does it say reservable? She says it's not it's a walk-up but you have to put your name on the waiting list and when he gets back at 3 with his camping gear I will call your names. I said that's not a walk-up because I am here with my camping gear (travel trailer?) and the site is open and you won't let me rent it. So long story short, I told her to shove the site where the sun doesn't shine and I will never be back! This was my first time to the park and my last! I drove over an hour and a half for a walk-up and was refused the vacant site!!So the DNR officer called me two hours later after I arrived at Lewisville Recreation in Lewisville, NE, and argued with me about his wait list policy on the walk-up sites next to the lake. He tried to tell me its that way everywhere in Nebraska... dudes an idiot! With this said an out of towner can never stay in there walk-up sites by the lake because their running a wait list the night before on those sites!! That's called reserving!!!

I am giving it a low score because the bathrooms were dirty when we arrived. You had to pay for showers (it takes quarters). You also have to pay for a park pass even thou you just paid for electric only site. Which was $35.00. I never found the area to wash dishes so I washed them in the bathroom sink. Some of the site had huge puddles of water in them from the rain so make sure you are not in a low area. The plus was the sites are nicely spaced between each other and they had flushable toilets. Also we asked about buying wood and the lady said we had to go out of the park and buy some.

Took my 3 grandsons for a weekend quick trip. They loved the caboose. Everything was clean and the staff were so nice. So many spots to choose from, and the beach was clean. We will definitely go back.

Fishing is bad. Paid for trout fishing not even a bite. Caught 2 turtles. All youth are to have a fishing tag. We were the only ones with it. Hard to get to the water. Lots of high reeds. Only 3 spots to get close to water and those were taken with the non tagged individuals. Floatation devices were on the lake. No fish caught at other lakes. No visibility of games and parks. Late night parties.

Two Rivers is probably the worst state park I've ever been to. The staff is incredibly rude and they're regularly breathing down your neck. They make you feel like you're constantly doing something wrong, to the point where it felt we were walking on eggshells our whole stay. The worst of the staff was Jacob. I'm not sure if he was power-tripping or having a few bad days but he definitely needs to work on his people skills, or go be a cop if he wants to treat people the way he does. He was incredibly impolite and aggressive. The bathrooms were dirty and did not appear to have been cleaned the whole weekend we stayed there. The water at the swimming lake is dirty and smelly. Want to know the most ridiculous part of the whole park? Having to pay to take a shower. Two quarters for 3 minutes. If I have to pay money like that just to take a shower, you would expect the shower rooms to be clean and the water would at least stay warm. What a joke of an experience. Also, I think Jacob could really benefit from some coaching on his people skills. Maybe even some therapy. I don't know his situation but the ego trips were very unpleasant and unprofessional. We did not feel comfortable there and it's safe to say we'll never stay there again.

This is a lovely park for camping and the caboose camper cabins they offer are a fun option. My mistake was to come for hiking - the customer service person told me the trails aren’t marked on the map they give out and he didn’t seem to know for sure if there are any or where I could find them. He did tell me to watch out for hunters with bows. The park is fairly small, we didn’t find any actual trails, I would say it is best for family camping since they do offer many different options for that (cabooses, regular cabins, multiple spaces for RVs and tents). There is a small lake with a beach that’s great for swimming, and you can also swim in the river (although the lake is safer). The cabooses should be reserved online first since they are pretty booked up through the summer. Minimum stay is two nights, so they can’t be booked just for an overnight stay.Overall the park is clean, seems safe, and the nature is pretty. We saw lots of different kinds of birds, including a goose nesting right by the camping area.

This is a great place to go camping, there are plenty of camping spots, and a lot of them by the water, during the main time of the year there are showers and the showers have handicap showers, there are places for the kids to play, and they have different levels of camping from primitive to camper hook up. The prices range from $15-$30 a night.

Nice place to camp. Was in Riverside where bathrooms are pit toilet only. There is fresh water hydrant but no sign for it. There is no security lights on or in the bathroom which would be helpful. Be sure to ask for map if youve never been. Noise pollution can be loud at times (trains, planes, boats, military ammunition?) but not gonna dock a star for that. Lots of wildlife to watch!Restrooms: Pit toilet in non electric area. Two shower locations are not free, but cheap. Water did smell like sulfur
