“I enjoy shopping at Aldi, as I’m not a big fan of the massive super shopper stores like Walmart or even Target when compared to Aldi. They offer a lot of interesting choices and healthy options. Their prices are also very reasonable.”
“ALDI is a fantastic store, but it looks like a lot of people don't know a thing about it. It is based in Germany and is the fastest growing grocery chain in the world because of their prices. They don't buy all of the name brands to control costs. The quarter deposit on a cart saves them tens of thousands of dollars on people schlepping carts around.”

“The customer service manager makes it a point to greet us with a smile on her face anytime come in to shop for our groceries even when she's busy answering phones, taking packages, and helping other customers. She's gone out of her way to help me get the perks app on my phone and took the time to show me how to use it! We look forward to seeing her smile and exchanging a funny dad joke with her when we come to Hy-Vee to shop. Definitely a friendly smile in every aisle.You won't get friendly customer service like that anywhere else!”
“Great place for grocery shopping, and the staff are very approachable and polite. However, my only criticism would be that sometimes the attendants up front get too comfortable chatting with each other to the point they won't notice if you need help. Was at self-service for 5 minutes one afternoon with the red light on above for assistance. I looked right at the attendant the entire time she was laughing with a coworker talking. When she finally noticed she scanned her card and reset it for me , she didn't say anything and went right back to chatting again. Otherwise, it's a great store.”
