“The store is decent but I don't recommend buying fruit there. I have more than once noticed the fruit is either already bad or going bad. Everything else is great.”

“I frequent this Dollar General mainly because I live a block away. It's very convenient for me to just walk over and grab something I need right away. (Such as today I ran out of deodorant and that was all I needed. By of course I left with around $16 worth of stuff.) The aisles are very close together, but I've noticed that about every DG I've been to. They try to pack everything in. This location keeps their shelves pretty well stocked and organized. The clearance bins are always a mess and there isn't always a price sticker on the items, but that's the fun of clearance, right? The 'find.' There is one area that is always an awful mess. Sadly it's right by the register. It's always just stuff piled there and looks like the inside of a hoarder's closet. It blocks some clearance stuff and their line of Husker items. Very few 'fresh' groceries here. I never buy anything that isn't a dry good/non-perishable. It just doesn't seem very...well, fresh. No produce at all. Parking lot on one side and street parking on the other. Lot is usually clean. No public bathroom available. Staff is always nice. I'm usually greeted and helped when I need it. Friendly people. I have experienced their registers shutting down more than once. And if the place is busy the employees seem frazzled, but it's rarely busy.”

“I recently switched to Hyvee Pharmacy after being disappointed with the one I had been using for over 10 years, so far I am very pleased with the service, the quickness they can refill medications, and the communication they keep while working on difficult or immediately needed med.”

“Tradition and culture you can find the spices and the best avocados in the city imported from Mexico. It needs some cleanness in back areas but “la chinita” works daily and provides us with a special service. She always remembers your face if you are frequent and is very responsible in keeping it open all year round forever. Does anyone know when it opened?”

“Your typical Walmart. Great place to stop in stock up; especially when traveling. We stopped here to pack up on supplies on our road trip. They have a small collection of souvenirs for us tourists.”
