Hours: Cargill, also referred to as Excel Corp, is a facility in Schuyler. The process for drivers is explained at the guard shack upon arrival. Drivers must drop their empty trailer, with specific instructions to have three-quarters or more reefer fuel. The empty can be left in a designated wash bay or, if full, in a dirt lot. There is plenty of room to maneuver in the empties lot. After, drivers check in and later collect a loaded trailer from rows near the shack. The facility tries its best to process and load trailers as fast as possible, and they do a good job loading with proper weight distribution. However, loading and processing can take a long time, ranging from about an hour and a half to a couple of days. Delays are common, sometimes involving a wait for bills even after loading is complete. The security gate often takes a long time to get through, and the security shack has a few difficult characters. A significant drawback is that there are no restrooms on site; the nearest Love's travel stop is about half a mile away, and there is no overnight parking. Overall, while the in-and-out process can be straightforward and easy, wait times and facility limitations are frequent points of frustration.
