“Purely a review for rinks only. You should rethink your no outside beverage rule for 6am youth hockey games. No concessions and parents braving the cold can’t even bring their coffee in at 5:30am? That’s a bit ridiculous. I get the rule for events, but for early youth games? Also, water fountain is in the worst spot for kids to try and fill up water bottles. Poor logistics.”

“We had the best experience here. The owners are super nice, and very helpful. We brought some games in to sell, and they offered us a more than fair price. We will definitely be back!”

“Great place to meet friends for mock tails! Plenty of games, books and conversations seating areas. Extensive mocktail menu, and everything is non alcoholic. Quiet and cozy sitting areas. Also open mic on Fridays!”

“Tons of fun, great customer service. Very welcoming. Really liberating to huck items at a wall after living my whole life resisting that urge. Will be back again!”

“Had my daughter's 5th birthday here and the girls had a lot of fun. Easy to set decorations up, can bring your own food, cake, cooler of drinks which is fantastic. Simple to book and pay for. They did a craft, nails and toes done, hair and makeup. Great little setup!”

“Wonderful little historic theater. We attended a charity movie event here and we're very impressed with the overall ambience, decoration, and classy appearance. The drinks were good and the bar staff were fun and kind to talk to. The booth we sat in was very comfortable. We're definitely interested in possibly seeing a live show in the future.”

“I stayed so long I got hungry and had to leave for a meal. I would have stayed even longer if not for dietary restrictions. It had trains I could walk on, video games from my youth, and extensive history of Omaha.I highly recommend this place for train and history lovers!”

“I was looking for a place where I could meet some Polish people and stay in touch with Polish culture in Lincoln/Omaha and I’m so glad I found this venue! It’s a wonderful place for anyone who loves Poland and everything Polish. There’s lots of fun events, from dance nights, Polish films screenings and carol singing to craft workshops, they are family friendly, the venue is gorgeous and the food is so yummy. We’ve only been in the area for a couple of months, but Polish home of Omaha is already like a second home to us. We made friends with some amazing people and already have a lot of memories to cherish forever thanks to everyone who puts so much heart and effort into running this lovely place. Check it out and you won’t regret it!”

“Fries and Patty melt came out steaming hot. Bartenders were friendly and professional. A great selection of middle and top shelf bourbon and whiskey. The only thing that was missing was the whiskey cubes. But hey, it’s a neighborhood pub. Roll with it.”

“The ambiance of the establishment was exceptionally inviting, characterized by a serene and relaxed atmosphere that I greatly appreciated. The presence of pool tables added a unique and enjoyable dimension to the overall experience. Furthermore, the staff members were notably amicable and welcoming, contributing positively to our visit. The quality of the copy was outstanding, enhancing the ambiance and ensuring a memorable visit. This combination of a congenial environment, engaging activities, and stellar service underscores the establishment's commitment to providing an enjoyable and high-quality experience for its guests.”

“I have never rented the venue personally, but I have done a couple jobs there for clients. I met the owner once and she was very friendly and helped her client set up for the event. The room itself is beautiful and very spacious! The only downside is the parking in my opinion. There is also a nice kitchen right off the party room.”

“This bowling alley is a hidden gem! It really takes you back to a simpler time. Great staff, lots of fun, plenty of ball options. Look forward to going back for another group outting again!”

“Absolutely incredible experience here! Everything from the initial meeting all the way to the ceremony was top notch and Katie helped us every step of the way. The venue itself is beautiful in its own right and needs very little in terms of decor to make it stand out. The location is perfect for guests who need accommodations and things to do in the Omaha area leading up to the big event. Highly, highly recommend!”

“I love The Makery so much! I have been there several times before but in December my husband hosted a surprise birthday party for me there. I can't imagine a better place for a party for my basic self (lol). With the help of the amazing staff, I was able to make a unique Chiefs door hanger & honestly, without that sign, I don't know that the Chiefs would have won the Super Bowl this year.In addition to being a great place to craft without making a giant mess at your own home, they have a great private event room. I was able to host a meeting there last night very last minute. They completely saved the day! It was a perfect place for our meeting.I can't say enough good things about The Makery & I will be coming back again and again & bringing as many friends as I can every time.”

“I think this is referring to the Italian fest. My crazy go out, drink and dance take too many pictures, partne, linda &I I want to go see euphonium (band, I think I'm making a spelling error.) I had wine, she had beer and uhhhhh, some tequila shots. I danced with an older Italian gentleman that had 4 body guards.l?? ??”

“There are not enough kind/accurate adjectives to describe how much we LOVED our wedding day and Livestock Exchange Ballroom, staff and food. The room is just stunning. We had a 300 guest wedding which was perfect for the large ballroom. The staff made my husband and I feel like a King & Queen constantly checking to see if we needing more water, drinks, more food, or any misc. thing they could handle for us. The up lighting our DJ provided really made the character of the building sparkle and look amazing. It was our dream venue and it surpassed all of our dreams. All of the guests thought it was amazing as well.”

“This place was super super cute, very good vibes for a girls trip! The staff was friendly and greeted us upon entry. It was a little pricey but definitely worth it! It is in a safe neighborhood but a little too far to walk to the Old Market (about 1 mile). We walked one morning but decided to Uber back at night since it was dark and cold. The Uber was only about $7 so it was worth the ride versus the 25ish minute walk without good scenery, for us anyways!”

“Sons of Italy luncheons on Thursdays are an institution in Omaha. The food is always great and there's always someone there that we know. It's really a fun experience. ?”

“We considered Founders ONE | NINE for our wedding, and though we decided to go with a different venue, it was an incredibly difficult decision. I'm still choosing to write a review because Summer was an absolute delight to work with! She was extremely prompt and helpful throughout the entire touring/decision process, and was refreshingly very candid and transparent. Founders is a beautiful venue and we're bummed not to be working with Summer on our big day!”

“Easy to book online. They did everything for us and made it easy and fun. I haven’t been to others but Bounce U was perfect for our 5 year old party and her little 2 yr old sister came along and had a great time too. They set up the party room served pizza and cut our cake and cleaned up after everything. Great job!”

“It has a creepy theme (mass murders) and the atmosphere is unkept, with empty boxes around the perimeter and tables stacked against the wall and blocking the shuffleboard table. But, it’s a dive bar. Very fun owner who’s always available to tell her (and her bar’s) story and friendly, attentive bar keepers. A favorite stop when Millard Avenue dive bar hopping.”

“It's an interesting place but I was not clear that this was a tour and that you can't just go in and look around. It probably would have only taken about 30 minutes to look around but the tour is 2 hours which I felt was too long. Interesting history but wish that the tour was quicker and that they just gave you a pamphlet with some of the history so that they didn't talk in the beginning for 30 minutes about the history of the place.”

“Never been and still giving four stars for sure. I just tried some of their whiskey at a local bar in Sioux Falls and was absolutely dumbstruck I mean it's incredible. New top 3 for me. Good job.”

“We had a wonderful time at the brewery. There was something for everyone. We had two toddlers and they even enjoyed being there. We cannot recommend the pizza enough. It was so delicious and super fast. I would recommend the Crab Rangoon pizza. It was much better than I ever expected. Would definitely go back to eat.”

“The staff were friendly informative accommodating and knowledgeable of the dietary needs menu. I will definitely be going back!Dietary restrictions: I was pleasantly surprised I was able to get Gluten free desserts!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, the restaurant is wheelchair and the bathrooms are accessible, and the parking can pose some problems (only a few accessible parking spots are available)”

“It was nice....really need some sort of seating for those who want to watch the games rink side. But over all the restrooms seem clean, they have filtered water bottle refill station, and a nice little concession.”

“My family and I have been parish members from day 1. (50 years). While the church was being built masses were held in the gym at Sandoz Elementary next door....Archbishop Sheehan ordered a new parish for Southwest Omaha because Mary Our Queen wasn't large enough to handle everyone anymore. Father Pat (McCaslin)was the second priest after Father Schwab retired. Father Pat, since retired has been our "family priest" ever since his days at St. Therese's in NE Omaha. The parish closed about 10 years ago. We would sometimes have family masses in my grandparents home. Family members could just walk in their home.....Even Father Pat just walked in. Just an FYI.....Mass times have changed. Weekday masses are still at 9 am. Weekend masses are a 5:30 pm vigil on Saturday's, 7:30 and 10:30 am on Sunday's.....”

“Attended an awards ceremony here. Super cool place. The design of the space feels retro in a way that's classy and timeless. Because it was winter, it was already dark by the time I got there and I didn't get a very good chance to see the view. Not sure if the food was their regular menu or special banquet food, it was mostly heavy appetizers. It was all good, but nothing too special. The fried ravioli had meat inside and was not labeled, a vegetarian friend unknowingly bit into one - that was not great. Food was a buffet but servers were friendly and attentive to clearing tables. The christmas lights added a lot to the vibe; it gave it such a magical feel like walking into an old movie scene. There were some sections where it seemed the lighting was a little harsh rather than moody, but I was lucky enough not to be sitting in any of them.”
