Friendly and helpful staff, 2 out of 3 times I’ve come here what I need is not in stock. I like Ace but this one needs to do a deep inventory and replenish basics.
Edit 9 MONTHS LATER: I came back today to give them another chance and they LITERALLY didn’t have the one thing I needed. Cheese cloth. Google says you have it, but nobody in the store could find it. I’m NEVER coming to this Ace again.

Their staff is always helpful even when you don't know what you're doing. They're pretty patient and can walk you through it. I can't tell you how many times I've walk in with some random screw and they've helped me find its twin.

The Ralston location is always so helpful. The associate Cooper went above & beyond helping us when we purchased our Solo stove firepit. He answered all questions & even helped us out to the car with it. You can tell he really likes his job & enjoys working there.

I have to give a huge shout-out to employee "Tony" who went well above and beyond in helping me this past weekend. I was in a bit of a bind fixing my Stihl trimmer. I couldn't find a parts diagram for the the screw I needed that holds the trimmer head on. Unfortunately, when I looked at the same model in-store, the trimmer guard covered up the screw. Tony quickly grabbed a screwdriver, took the guard off so we could access the correct screw, measured the size, found the correct one for me, and promptly put the guard back on the display model. Without his willingness to do so, of probably still be guessing at the right size. Thank you, Tony, for your outstanding service!

Ace hardware has more hardware than some of the bigger stores. If you need something a bolt or nut thats a little unique. They probably have it. Store is clean people there are friendly an very helpful.
