I didn't know there was a pet store in plattsmouth until I was walking around the harvest festival. The store doesn't look like much from the outside, but I was impressed with the contents. It was pretty obvious that the animals are well taken care of. I read in a comment below that they price match their fish, but good luck even finding some of those fish in other stores. I thought the prices were normal/fair as they were. Another unique aspect of this store is how they buy,sell, and trade used items.

Love this Pet store! Came in yesterday for the first time to get food for our snake. We will definitely be back and this will be our new place to shop! Staff was so friendly! I was very happy to see all the animals/reptiles/ birds so happy and friendly! They keep the cages very clean. Thank y'all!

Owners are absolutely great. They started carrying my parrots pellet food just for him ♡ highly recommend them for any pet from birds to fish to hamsters. They also have a website to order online, which is fantastic. Their care for our pets is the highest of standards, and carries high quality foods and toys.

I loved this place! The aquariums were sparkling. The little furballs, lizards & birds had tidy homes. The species & prices were clearly marked. There's second-hand gear, no snakes or spiders, and a tortoise with an extremely long neck that doesn't go in its shell (not for sale). They're in a cool historic building on historic Main Street.

A great little “ma and pa's†pet store, all of the animals were healthy, there was a good variety of “off the wall†pets and different colorations, the people working there were friendly, overall great experience

Plattsmouth Pets is a fantastic place to visit. The staff is very courteous and helpful. They sell an assortment of supplies for all you and your pets' needs. They are always ready to assist and order anything you want.
