Our child loves going to Apple Tree Orchard. The teachers are so kind and all the different activities keep our kiddo engaged all day. I also appreciate the safety precautions, especially the controlled entry. Thank you for being so great! We appreciate you!

My son has gone to this daycare for a year and a half and the growth and difference I have noticed has been night and day. From the excellent work done by teachers to get him comfortable, as the beginning of anything new can always be nerve racking, to the work done to prepare him for kindergarten, to the music programs, to the structure and organization of the entire daycare everything is set up to give every kid the chance to succeed. I am incredibly grateful for my son's experience and would highly recommend this facility to anyone who asks.

Went in for an interview a week and an half ago and was told they would reach out to me. A few days went by so I figured I would give them a call. I’ve been trying to get ahold of them and nobody has contacted me back until today. Very unprofessional on their part. If you don’t want to hire someone, tell them instead of wasting their time.

Our child enjoys going to Apple Orchard! The entire staff has been welcoming, kind, and accommodating. They add in extra classes such as soccer and kung fu, along with Spanish class everyday. I highly recommend!

I would not recommend working at this daycare. When you first start working there makes you feel like family. And then after you have been working there for awhile then it all gose downhill from there. How they fire you is so disrespectful and rude and not professional at all. They let you go home an hour and a half before your actual end time. Then they call you to say that it was your last day there and not to bother to come in the next day. That is how you get fired is by a phone call. And when you ask them why I am being fired they say oh we don't have to give you a reason. In the state of Nebraska yes they do have to give you a reason. So please if you are looking for a daycare job please do not go to appletree orchard. And they are also rude to children and parents.

My daughter learns so much and always has fun stories about her day when I pick her up (she just turned 3). I found out about Apple Tree through my aunt and uncle. All 4 of their kids went here. ATO has so many activities included in their program that you don't need to pay extra for like at other daycares. I love the crafts my daughter brings home. All of the staff is so friendly and thorough with communication. Love it!

I want to preface this review by saying I am a former employee of Apple tree Orchard. The issue I had with this daycare was the so called directors/ administrators of this establishment. I was hired at ATO in November of 2021 and I worked there until January 2022 when I was let go. As someone who was terminated from a position here I would like to state that this was my personal experience and observations here at this Daycare and I want to share what I saw so as to best help parents choose childcare for their children. When I first started it seemed like a great Daycare, everyone was nice and friendly and hanging out with the kids was so much fun. There are a lot of rules working in a Daycare, these rules are so important to know your job can ride on whether or not you abide by them. When I went in for orientation I was a handed a rule book along with another stack of papers to sign. As someone who likes to work hard I had planned on reading the entire booklet. The director who handed me the book (I will not be naming names so as not to get anyone punished) told me "just go ahead and skim through that you don't need to read the whole thing," I did as I was told and skimmed through it focusing on things I felt pertained to me such as employee rules. However thinking back on it this should have been my first red flag. Now a month or so after starting I was really liking my job but unfourtantley I came down with Covid. At first they were very understanding telling me to just get them a picture of my positive test. I sent it in and upon coming back to the Daycare I discovered they had told other employees I had Covid. I understand that it was important to let people know that there was a Covid case but they said my name and told people it was me. I had not told anyone else at the Daycare besides one Director so I assume she must have told someone and it spread. Again this is another thing I thought was weird as I felt my medical information should be confidential and not for everyone to know. Well a month or so later there was a really bad cold going around the Daycare and I got it. I called out of work for 2 days because I knew it was contagious and I also worked in the infant room and did not want to get any of the babies sick as we had children as young as 4 months in there. The third day I was feeling worse rather than better so I called in saying I was going to go to the doctor. The doctor told me I had a severe sinus infection and perscribed me antibiotics and said I could go back to work after two days. When I called to communicate this to my boss she said okay but sounded frustrated with me. Two days later I got to come back and began working but the following day at work I go sick to my stomach and threw up at work like literally in the building. At least four people saw me run to the bathroom and hear me puking. I went to the director and said I had thrown up she looked at me like I was stupid and said "well I guess you have to go home then, whose in the room with your kids" she then proceeded to roll her eyes at me and walk away from me. I had not experienced that kind of rude attitude directed at me since high school. After being up half the night sick again I called and said I had been throwing up all night but had not gotten sick in a few hours so I could come in if they needed, I said I did not know the sick rules and the lady on the phone told me to stay home and that she would tell the director.I even let them all know that I was sick and would provide a doctors note for the sinus infection if needed. They didn't care. I got in bed to go to sleep as I had hardly had any and my phone rang, it was work, I assumed they had changed their minds and were going to say I could come in...... Nope. They told me I was fired because I was unreliable. Now, if this had been all that had happened I could understand where they were coming from. It did look bad and I might not have believed me anyway but that's not all this establishment did. Now that I explained how I was terminated I want

Had son enrolled for years and through the initial coronavirus pandemic where we paid for daycare for 6 plus months without actually sending him(thousands) to support the day care. Have kept him enrolled through multiple sicknesses, absences etc. Wanted for the first time in years take him out for two weeks, told them the day he would come back and they said everything would be fine. Upon his return was told they decided to fill the spot but he could go on a waiting list. Thanks but we'll never go here again.

Wouldn’t have picked a better daycare! We’ve been through a couple and Apple Tree blows them all out of the water. They not only watch your child, but teach them all the new things their age group is discovering. Talking, colors, counting… etc. It is also a very clean facility and they have a great menu for the littles. Our daughter was always so excited to go see all her teachers. If we weren’t moving, we would definitely be staying until she outgrew the program. Thank you all for everything ?

The teachers and staff are amazing. They love the children like they are their own. The fee includes dance, Spanish, music, kung fu for 4/5 year olds; and soccer for 5 year olds. Breakfast and lunch are also provided. My son left in December, started Kindergarten in January when we moved, and graduated Kindergarten in June. My kids love it there and have made several friends.

Apple tree orchard has been a true blessing, my son is always excited to go, and he absolutley loves his teachers. We have been with apple tree orchard for 2 years and regret not taking him sooner. I would definetly recommend this place to any worried moms leaving their kids for the first time. The innovation and plans of action during the pandemic that came in to effect right away in order to stay open was a blessing for a mom working in the medical field. I was able to relay in them so I could continue to work and never doubted not taking my son when Covid hit knowing they had a good plan in place. They not only take good care of our children but also have a curriculum where my son was able to learn so much. He initially had speech delays but has had great improvement and we are so happy with the progress he has made. We are sad he will be leaving soon for kindergarten but are thankfull for everything they have done in my childs development.

One of the most taxing decisions I’ve made as a parent was choosing a childcare provider. Once the grandparents could no longer watch the girls, I can’t tell you how many nannies, in-home daycares and various child care facilities we visited and yet, nothing felt like a fit. So, I reached out to my social media communities for advice. An ex-coworker of mine, who’s partner works for Nebraska’s Health and Human Services Department, recommended Apple Tree Orchard; I scheduled a visit.Within minutes of walking through the door all of my trepidations were resolved. I could literally feel the stress falling from my shoulders. The facility had secure access. The staff knew not only the names of the kiddos in their class, but also those we’d pass as we toured through the building. Amazingly enough, that also held true for the administration as well, not just the teachers! Nappers who had a hard time settling down were lying next to staff members who gently patted their backs, others who were upset were being consoled and those who didn’t take naps sat quietly with activities to keep them busy. The facility offers three different age-appropriate playgrounds and a gym where the kids can participate in everything from soccer to kung fu to dance. They have bubbles, chalk, scooters and water days! The various centers are all enclosed with safety gates for the little ones and yet the walls are only chest high on an adult so staff can view the entire center. I love that they have a parent’s portal where I can tune in and watch my girls at any point during their day. There are limited field trips (namely to the public library a block away) which personally, I am relieved about and yet, they make the effort to bring in professionals to discuss their trades or entertainers like magicians or even ponies to mix things up a bit. We’ve greatly enjoyed the Independence Day Music Performance and Celebration which is clear everyone puts a lot of time and energy into. It’s a family event where the kids sing patriotic songs and get to enjoy extra activities like bounce houses, balloon animals, face painting and more.As a working mom I also really appreciate their longer hours of operation: 630AM to 600PM, that they don’t have reduced summer hours and I have yet to experience a snow day when the preschool was closed. Not to mention how Kristin and her staff went above and beyond to protect each child and staff during the pandemic. They, like all of us, weathered the storm and took such extensive measures that I had zero concerns about keeping our girls enrolled; unlike several of my friends’ families who needed to quarantine because only the minimum requirements were met.I could go on and on about how outstanding Apple Tree Orchard is. My husband and I could not be more pleased and so greatly appreciate that our girls are truly CARED for. This is not a place where only basic needs are met, my girls thrive in the Apple Tree Orchard environment. We are truly heartbroken that we’ll be moving on to kindergarten in the fall and will have to say goodbye. My utmost gratitude and thanks to Kristen and everyone at Apple Tree Orchard! You’ve been a blessing!
