“The Wire is truly one of the best apartment communities in downtown Omaha. The location is perfect—within walking distance of the Old Market, the Joslyn Museum, and many performance venues—so the cultural life here is unbeatable.

When I was first searching for an apartment, I misunderstood a few terms, but Hilary was incredibly considerate, supportive, and accommodating. Thanks to her and Brendon, my move-in went very smoothly. The apartment was spotless, maintenance requests are handled promptly, and the staff are always friendly and professional. The amenities are fantastic, and my favorite spot is the sky deck.

And the other is the VENT … it is not absorbing the cooking smoke.The authorities suggest to open the patio door where insects are coming in. (flies wasp)

If there is play area , the kids can make more friends as well the parents.

There was a leakage in the concrete we struggled a lot during winter 2022 we couldn’t use the room throughout winter and few weeks in spring, as it was too cold.
When I took it forward they helped up to their strength.

I just shared these points to you coz it will be useful to you. And the future tenants gets the benefits out of it.

He has been helping through the process and has been so accommodating since I first reached out. “I lived at Villa Vinee for almost 2 years. It was quiet and comfortable. I had to hoof it to the 3rd floor but the balcony view made it worthwhile. Maintenance was quick and efficient when issues arose. My favorite thing was the near presence to the Papio creek out back. I took many walks down there and was surprised at all the wildlife. American minks, ground hogs, some deer, turkeys and great horned owls were a few of the creatures I saw. The location is very convenient to anything you would need in central Omaha. If I ever move back, I would like to live there again. Only short coming is the parking, if you get back after 9pm you may have to park quite a ways from your front door.”

“My boyfriend and I toured at Oaks at Lakeview a few weekends ago and the leasing agent we toured with was honestly what almost sold us on moving in there. We did end up leasing elsewhere due to the location and wanting to be closer to work but the leasing agent was really personable. If we do move again in the future we would probably lease here. The apartments are nice and the pricing is great for the apartment you would move into.”

“As of February 2025, I will have been living at Whispering Pines Townhomes for almost four years. I would like to provide some candid observations. Whispering Pines Townhomes and Apartments (the apartments which often serve as dormitories for students from Methodist College) is situated across the street, is a lovely and quaint community, offering a peaceful retreat from the usual hustle and bustle of city life. It is an exceptionally quiet place, making it suitable for raising a small family. However, for larger families, such as single or two parents with four or more children, this environment may not be ideal. On the other hand, two parents or single parents with three or fewer children will find it to be a good fit. A helpful guideline to keep in mind is the recommendation of two occupants per room. Should you encounter a serious maintenance issue—such as plumbing, heating or air conditioning problems, leaks, flooding, or any matter that poses a risk to health and safety—please report it immediately, and maintenance will respond promptly.

The new management team that arrived in the third quarter of 2023 has displayed excellence. It is highly likely that they have been making necessary corrections from the previous management and adhering to stronger policies, procedures, rules, and regulations set forth by NP Dodge. If you have any concerns regarding the rules of Whispering Pines, it is best to review your lease or consult with the new Property Manager Dinita or the Assistant Property Manager, Carissa for further information.

Most tenants are genuinely kind and friendly, and for the most part, the children are respectful. There is assigned parking for all apartments and townhomes, so please inform your guests not to park in someone else's assigned spot. They can park in the unassigned parking spaces that are unmarked. The rent is competitively priced compared to similar dwellings in close proximity.

My family and I thoroughly enjoy residing in this community and would like to express our gratitude to Dinita, the Property Manager, and Carissa, the Assistant Property Manager, for their exceptional efforts in making Whispering Pines Townhomes and Apartments Omaha’s best-kept secret. Dinita, you are truly outstanding, simply the best! Enough said.”

“Currently living here. Honestly, I have avoided apartments for the last 20 years, because sharing walls sucks, and there wasnt as much offered 20 years ago. Anyways, We had to actually end up finding one and I'm really enjoying this place and im glad they worked with us. The grounds are beautiful. The amenities are great. The staff is friendly. The apartments are massive and spacious feeling. I just wish we had in unit laundry though haha.

UPDATE: dont plan on doing laundry on site. We've only been here 7 months and I've reported them both 3-4 times each in a 3 month period. The company just keeps putting bandaid on them. Elevate won't do anything. They just tell to to contact jetz.

Dog POO EVERYWHERE. I have pictures and videos of several tenants just letting their dogs POO and not pick it up. Signs or bag stations would be nice. It really sucks that it's not harped on to pick up after your pets. I know some other companies will fine you for it. I'm also quite shocked at how many banned breeds per the lease live here. All you have to do is stand outside for 20 minutes and you'll count how many people have pitbulls and German shepherds here. Which I love dogs but with how strict they were over vet records when we moved in, it's just quite shocking.

Anyways it's over all a decent place to live. I do still recommend people to move here even with the dog poop and iffy laundry.”
