About 7 weeks ago we bought a 2023 Nissan Frontier that supposedly went through their Certified Pre-owned Inspection process. After noises developed I took the truck to Sid Dillon Nissan for repairs. They discovered there was a weld that was missed at the factory. A second weld broke due to the other weld being missed. There is also a stress fracture on a cab mount.
This dealership clearly pencil whipped the CPO inspection otherwise they should have caught to frame defect.
Nissan won't replace the truck. Nissan also won't extend the warranty on my truck. Nissan wants to rebuild the truck on a new frame. If I wanted a rebuilt truck I would have bought one with a rebuilt price and not a CPO price. I even emailed executives at Nissan and Tiago Castro's assistant said they won't do anything until the truck is fixed. Nissan also won't give me a loaner because they say my truck is safe to drive. I wonder what else was missed or not done right when this truck was built. Extremely poor build quality and even worse customer service after the sale.
I have been posting on social media and working with investigative journalists trying to get my story out. This is completely unacceptable on a 1 year old truck. I will not ever buy a Nissan again. I don't even want this truck anymore.
