I stopped going here a while back because the outside and inside was always unkept. But I needed something quick and this was the closest. The Black and White store associate didn’t greet when I walked in, just stopped their happy conversation, stared at me and looked away. There was no one in a specific aisle and then the intercom goes off saying assistance is needed. That must be their way of saying watch “that” person because a store associate appears, pretending to stock items, you almost get the sense that you’re being watched. Walgreens, please stop profiling a certain demographic of customers, it’s weird and makes the shopping experience uncomfortable.

19 June 2024 The 29th & Dodge Walgreens' staff is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and hard working. 5☆
. The shelves are under stocked. One of the staff said there have been supply chain issues (i.e. corporate). The supply problem appears to be cronic. 3☆

Reviewing everything but the actual pharmacy: some of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. One cashier was literally on her phone, eating, and using profanity while checking me out.

Pharmacy sucks so bad that we switched to the nearby Bakers. They gave us the wrong number of pills on several occasions and misplaced our medication and said that we came and picked it up (???).
The store? This store is ghetto. Like really ghetto. It's the dirtiest Walgreens in the city. The employees are rude... Last time I was in there, the cashier said literally nothing to us. I spoke to him, but he didn't say anything back. I've purchased eye drops here and they were expired ($20!). Their employees are too busy face timing, live streaming, and listening to their earbuds to care at all. They might as well close this place. It really went downhill after Covid and haven't been able to keep decent staff, since.
My wife and I both agreed we won't be returning. The 50th and Center location and the one in Council Bluffs are both 24 hours and have much, much better service in a cleaner store. In addition to a cleaner store, there's no people causing commotion, people yelling, rude staff, long wait times retrieving times, long wait times checking out, transients outside causing problems for people, and most of all? They can actually keep their staff as they're not desperate like this one is.

definitely a management problem. There should be no reason why staff aren’t properly trained in the photo department. Do better .

Remember when Walgreens a national pharmacy you could count on? I tried the Walgreens at 3001 Dodge Street because the were $50 cheaper on one of my medications. I had an account set up. I've used the photo services before. My Doctor sent the prescription over and all I heard was crickets chirping. The following Monday I went to the pharmacy. They were closed from 1 until 2 for lunch. I tried their automated voice system it was useless except at screening out calls to the pharmacy. On the 4th day I got to speak with someone at the counter. In the background two pharmacists were yelling at each other about a prescription. Warnning bells were ringing in my head. After 5 minutes the gentleman )coated my script in their computer system. No one had open the file or started working on it 4 days after receipt. Bells are ringing loudly now. He said they'd order it and text me when it came in. He confirmed my telephone number just in case. When I asked how long it would take to order in, his exact words were Lord only knows. As you can probably guess they never sent a text, called or emailed me. I had to go back to my old pharmacy and ask them to transfer the script from Walgreens to them. My original pharmacy called 3 week days in a row, Walgreens never filled or faxed the script. I spent 2 more day to have my Doctor cancel the original script and reissue a new one. I'm at 15 days to get 1 perception filled. Needless to say I WONT USE WALGREENS AGAIN!

Pharmacy techs answering the phone saying no for prescriptions to be filled same day when I've been without a med that is dangerous to stop for five days already? Your lack of staff is not my problem and neither is your disrespectful tone of voice. Thank God for the helpful pharmacist.
