Hard to pick up prescriptions with the shorter hours especially when they are running more than 10 minutes late to open at their normal hours!

UPDATE TO ADD: The manager Brandy was great! After I finally got to speak with her she confirmed I was eligible and she was able to get my vaccine administered. The pharmacy staff at this location definitely needs some customer service training. I know everyone is stressed out, but seriously…Terrible experience with the pharmacy at this location. After setting an appointment online for a vaccine and driving across town they A) had trouble finding my appointment, and B) refused to administer the vaccine despite my meeting the criteria. I waited up front to speak to the manager and staff ignored me.

It was pretty easy to find everything. They didn't have the specific Nyquil that we wanted. People don't seem to take social distancing seriously here. There was a woman in line behind us and she was all close to me. I, politely, moved around to the other side of my husband. I didn't want to have some crazy moment in this during & post Covida Jones society! I mean....gimme my 6 feet! The Ricola cough drops we got are ALL THAT AND THEN SOME EXTRA HERBS!! ???

Thank you Walgreens 24th and Lake- for your example of corporate micro aggression on the highest level. “ The masks are available at tens of thousands of pharmacies and 100-200 community health centers across the country. Most of the pharmacies that have partnered with the federal government to distribute COVID…. Available per the government in pharmacies EVERY where.. But when I went to pick them up not in this location. North Omaha- sorry, not sorry per management We don’t have them. Corporate determined a list of stores they were go to. North Omaha wasn’t one of them. Walgreens- please Answer this very important question. How did you determine what store receive the KN95 mask first. Was it underserved communities, or more affluent communities? Whether this was intentional or not, it still feels the same. I was able to go to 49th and Dodge CVS and Walmart on Saddlecreek and just get them. No issues

Pharmacy is not functioning properly, which is a pretty important thing to function correctly as there are people who might be in a physical medical crisis. Their phone system said they closed at 6PM on a Wednesday. Upon calling the pharmacy line, the employee told me they were “short staffed”, so he is the only person working until 8PM. Went to pick up an emergency prescription I needed around 6:30pm. The drive through was closed due to “short staffing”. I would think there should always be a real licensed pharmacist on duty. The person behind the counter was a pharmacy tech not an actual pharmacist. There was a Walgreens employee on the other side of the counter who seemed to be “overseeing” and on watch to help the pharmacy tech and the customer service. I succumbed to having to pick up my important treatment for my condition the next morning. It just didn’t seem right and didn’t seem to be protocol for short staffing. Especially with the phone line saying they close at 6 and when I called he said “we are open until 8, but it will just be me here, you can come into the store.” And then the drive thru is shut down. This doesn’t seem up to proper standards and safeties for a functioning pharmacy. I won’t be returning to this pharmacy and would not recommend it and would advise against it if anyone wants to save their time.
