Never had issues here, they are helpful. Note—they break for lunch daily so try to go at the start, or end of the day. Also there is frequently construction downtown so be aware for parking.

Hey Yelp, it's a Postal EMPORIUM, not a Post Office. I'm not sure why they call it an emporium, but it may have to do with the fact that it closed for lunch between 12:45 and 2:00 and unlike most normal locations, they don't open at all on Saturdays. As far as I can tell one woman runs the whole show here. Because of that there's almost always a line, but she's great as her job so it moves fairly quickly. Despite the lack of manpower this is a full service retail location, not merely a pickup/dropoff point. You can ship packages anywhere in the world, buy money orders and stamps etc. The line can get long, especially right before the 12:45 shutdown. If all you're doing is dropping off a pre-labeled package, you might want to consider the 21st and Leavenworth location.

I try to avoid this location. Now I have even more reason to do so. It was supposed to be closed for lunch till 2pm (6/20/22). I arrived at 1:59 PM, but at 2:15 PM, it was still closed with no sign of life inside.There should be no guessing as to why the USPS is considered so lowly. The consistently underperform all other means of shipping and can't even be counted on to fulfill normal responsibilities, like be on site.

Beth is so lovely and helpful, every time I go to the office she always takes care of me right away and I never had a problem with my packages shipped out from this location. My package shipped from California is experiencing a major delay and I couldn’t get a hold of customer service so I went to the office and Beth got me connected to the right person. Hopefully I’ll receive my mail soon but regardless this location has always been great and I never had problem with it!

Lady at the front desk is polite and very efficient. I'm Autistic so have trouble sometimes and she was still very polite and very patient. They need to give her a raise.
