We had to bring our pup in and she ended up having to stay a bit. The staff was great about communicating throughout the day and night with text and 2 daily phone calls as well. They took very good care of our girl until the end. I was very pleased and will use again if I need to

My girl was not standing on her back legs. I arrived at the Urgent Care walked in requesting assistance to get my 88lb girl inside & it was all hands on deck. She made me look like a lier when she trotted right on in ?. The staff took excellent care of her & we found the issues. Very transparent & fair with prices & the staff treated my girl very lovingly with care as if she was the only one there although I know there were others. I would recommend them.

The man on the phone gave a thorough answer and actually cared about the issue my pet was having.
He didn’t just try and pressure me to come in to get my $. He actually cared about the well being of me and my animal. Thank you so much.

Had to bring our toy pup in for an unexpected hip/leg injury. Everything was fast, pricing was transparent, and everyone was kind. Would recommend.

Exceptional communication and transparency throughout our pet's hospitalization. The Dr.'s & staff were great. Emergency vet care is an expensive proposition at any clinic. Costs were communicated and "decisions" were left in the hands of the pet owner, no guilt. Our pet was hospitalized for 5 days, and it was a happy outcome. He's back home & doing well. Thank you!

I am grateful for the staff at this clinic for being willing to quickly get our cat in for a blood type test before we drove 3 hours to ISU for a blood transfusion. We called 5 places before finally hearing “yes, we will help you.” All they asked is we pay the exam fee and got him in and out in 20 minutes. Happy to share that Slater survived the trip, got the transfusion and is now being treated for the bacterial infection that caused his anemia. Thank you for being willing to help us. It made us feel like someone actually cared about saving his life.

As there are only two currently open pet ERs, the wait times are understandable, and I appreciate the notifications. I cannot be critical of their service and care when my pet is in the ER—it's no different than in the hospital ER. Their service to the community at this time displays their willingness and desire to provide it.

We brought our dog, Oakley, to Urgent Pet Care West last weekend and were shocked to learn that he had terminal metastatic lung cancer. Oakley was 9 ½ years old and was a beloved member of our family, ferocious guardian and tireless tennis ball chaser. He had a beautiful soul and relished any visitors to our home. As they entered he would grab one of his toys in his mouth and growl hoping they would play fetch.
We want to thank Dr. Buhr for delivering the devastating news with sensitivity and professionalism. This was one of the hardest things my wife, kids and I have dealt with together. Dr. Buhr was wonderfully empathetic and, after she had answered all of our questions, she held hands with my wife and I and said a prayer for Oakley. It was completely unexpected and very special. Dr. Buhr is a treasure and I will give her and Urgent Pet Care West my unqualified highest recommendation to anyone looking for the most caring and competent urgent pet care in the Omaha area.
So thank you, Dr. Buhr, for what you do. And thanks to everyone at Urgent Pet Care West. God bless you all.

We had to bring our 10 year old Great Dane to the Millard location on Labor Day due to very sudden and unexpected health issues. 1. The fact that they were open and willing to help was amazing. 2. They came out and helped get our 130 pound dog into the facility. 3. They saw her immediately, no wait. 4. Everyone was so kind and genuine, from the front desk to the techs and everyone in between. Although we lost our girl that day, they couldn’t have been more helpful and kind through the whole process. Thank you!

I am grateful Dr. Robin and staff were able to take care of my Quintus boy. The worst always seems to happen after 5pm or weekend! This was my first time here. They took great care of my baby. I am so very thankful there is still emergency care available for our babies to go if needed. Thank you!
