I wanted to propose to my significant other, but let's be real I'm in my late twenties, have never owned a piece of fine jewelry let alone any real diamonds. I didn't know where to start, my now fiancé and I went to your known retail jewelry stores and we got her sized, but I am one who will always shy away if my experience with any business is similar to a new/used car lot visit. I needed a custom piece because my fiancé was given some heirloom Diamond and we needed to get those into a new design/new ring. I'm not sure how I ended up finding the Diamond experience, but after calling a few other places ,to then reach the wonderful Lucie...I immediately knew I had found the jeweler who could help me on this journey. Lucie had great communication along the way and is a brilliant smart individual! Can't recommend enough. My only feedback to anyone considering is that you should be prepared to give Lucie some time to do her work! It's worth any wait!

Lucie is absolutely the way to go. She listened to what style and details we liked and designed an engagement ring truly more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Her creativity and eye for detail can’t be beat. She truly cares about her customers! Thank you Lucie!

If I could give Lucie more stars, I would. After countless searches on the internet and store shopping for my fiancé, I decided to search for a person who knew more about diamonds than myself. I called Lucie and asked for a moment of her time in regards to a diamond I found online. She was very honest and never tried to pull me into her store, but rather gave me her professional opinion. She stated she had a store and if I felt like ever stopping, that I should give her a chance. I decided to and it was the best decision of my life. She truly cares about you and what you want. She caters to the budget you have and makes every ring special for YOU. My fiancé was blown away by the ring and now other members of my family have used her for other jewelry needs.

Lucie's personality is infectious and my ring is stunning. It was fully built from the cad drawing of the setting onward. I enjoy getting to see the drawings before it was made to make sure I would love it. She really knows how to design a ring to make the gems look their best. I was impressed with her knowledge. It is beautiful!

Buying an engagement ring is hard. After a several months long dive into ring design, exploring different cuts, and going through every online diamond direct source, a buddy of mine suggested I go to a reputable family owned jeweler in town and to make sure to work with Lucie Kousgard. Lucie got a good sense of my price range and what kinds of cuts and designs I though my soon-to-be wife would like and she searched for and brought in several of the most beautiful diamonds I have seen…and I looked a lot. She brought my ideas to fruition in the most beautiful way possible and was eager to make several changes and adjustments. Lucie is an academic gemologist, jewelry designer, and an absolutely delightful person who has published papers on gems and made pieces for some famous people you would have heard of. What she was able to create for me was perfect. I spent the exact amount I intended and I got an extremely fair deal. Above all, my wife loves her ring and continues to get complements all the time. Lucie is absolutely amazing. My engagement ring as well as my wedding bands are stunning! She really goes above and beyond. She personally made a killer Charcuterie board and had flowers and champagne waiting for my fiancé and I when he surprised me with my ring! She’s just the sweetest!
