Last time I will bid/use The Auction Mill. I had a WINNING bid! Drove to Midtown to pick it up. GONE. NOT THERE. Was told the "owners" took my item. Auction House NEEDS to TELL sellers that items listed and bidded upon DO NOT BELONG TO THE SELLER unless they (the sellers) chose to be a high bidder. What's the point when you bid, win, and your item is gone? Big deal...you get a refund...but you drive downtown for nothing. SHAME ON YOU, AUCTION MILL.

Purchased an item through an online auction site and the process was very smooth. Due to some unforeseen events, the item wasn't able to be shipped right away but Tom took care of everything. Would purchase from again!

I had previously won a couple of pint sized glasses from Auction Mill from "The Monster Club" and I had a family emergency out of town so I missed the pickup day. This was in early may of 2023, I had contacted the owner and Linda throughout the span of 3 months and I've yet to have heard back from them. When I had called him in early June of 2023 it sounded like the Mill had a decent stock pile of the glasses so this seems ridiculous.With time and businesses moving these things become forgotten but at this point I don't know how this place is still open.

I bid on a “new product” auction and won a Ryobi track saw for $230. Picked it up, and the track, battery, charger, clamp and accessory tools were all missing, replacement value close to $200. The only thing in the box was the saw, I came to find out that the other identical saw had everything but the saw. So between the two boxes someone appeared to pilfered an entire track saw kit. I reached out to Linda and Tom several times and no response. Everyone understands the risks with auctions but in this case I feel The Auction Mill misrepresented their products, feel the do not need to stand behind their integrity nor respond to their customers when there is significant problem. Be very careful when dealing with this Auction House, I’ve used others in town and they had stood behind their service.

Called and left messages and no response or reply.Tried to email which kicked back their "Correct" Email.Paid for an item a month ago and still nothing. No information given. Per their "shipping" all out of state buyers will have their items taken to one if two stores for shipping" I understand processing and shipping takes time but this is absolutely ridiculous and there's no excuse for a business to not try to reach back out to someone.I will pursue this and WILL be refunded one way or another. This can be classed as a fraudulent practice.

Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible. Made a $65 purchase on an online auction and The Auction Mill charged me $110 to ship this item UPS ground when the box that arrived was easily the same size as a USPS Priority Large Flat Rate Box which would have shipped for $25. Even if there was a slight chance that it took two flat rate boxes that is still only $50. I would have received the item faster and at a quarter of the price. This blatant disregard for the customer is unacceptable and the Auction Mill should be ashamed of themselves.Revised: It appears their original response to my review (which they have since deleted) is trying to pass the buck to UPS and suggested I should have requested USPS when their auction shipping information clearly states "We will ship your items in house via USPS." How was I supposed to know to request USPS? How was I supposed to know staff was out of the office? Further, having staff out of the office does not make it the fault of UPS. So not only do they screw the customer but they won't take ownership of their actions. Can I take away the 1 star and leave 0 stars? I at least added another "horrible."Reenactment: Tom owns a pizza parlor that promises fast delivery but all of his delivery drivers are out sick. A customer orders a pizza and Tom proceeds to tape the pizza on the back of a golden retriever for delivery. When the pizza arrives a half eaten mess, the customer leaves a bad review on Yelp. Tom blames the dog and tells the customer they should have requested a human deliver the pizza.

Having dealt with Auction Mill for a few years and have not had the best experiences with them the last auction pickup was the worst. Not only did they give the wrong address to pickup in getting to the correct address on the next time to pickup and the one time I forgot to bring my sheet on what I won I'm told that they cannot find my name on the list of buyers. As having to get to my granddaughters ball game I emailed Tom with what happened and let him know what happened and he did get back to me also telling me he cannot find my name on the list but then another email and guess what they found it. So after two trips and not getting what I won I told them they could keep the albums, which is what I won, and I also mentioned getting a little extra for gas for my two trips for nothing. Tom did say that they would refund my money but no mention of a few bucks for gas,so to save them from even dealing anymore with me I told them to keep the money and the albums so they can , maybe give the next paying customer a little extra for when they screw up on the next auction when they have to drive twice to get something they one but did not receive it. You see this was not the first time that I did not get what I won, one time they could not find the item and one time the item was given to someone else, you would think I would learn, right I will say they did refund me for their screw ups that is why I gave them 2 stars. I also had to drive to pickup my winnings but didn't receive them. So I will not be doing anymore business with them and stick with Auction Solutions here in Omaha, never had any problems getting what I won.
