Have what you need instead of just what you heard somebody else bought. An all sports store that includes soft lines as well as hard lines and outdoor gear, including hunting and fishing and everything needed for enjoying an outing or a hobby. A unique store that does indeed have something for the whole family.

I bought a St.Croix rod the tip has broke twice. I don’t want to replace the rod with warranty to have it happen again. Scheels took care of me and made it right.

Looking for a compound bow and decided to stop here, though we figured Bass Pro would be more appropriate. Never been more happy to be wrong. Three people assisted our daughter in selecting and getting set up on the right bow. The people here not only seem to enjoy their job, they seem to genuinely want to help. Did we spend 3 times as much as expected? Yes. Are we happy. SO happy! Excellent experience.

A little pricey at times but I love that they match any pricing if you can prove it. I stopped going to Cabela's years ago because of the customer service being so good at Scheels

I have always liked this store. No, it's no perfect, nor does it have everything. But, they do have a wide range of stuff, and Sunday's are always packed. Love the Sales racks, and they do a good job rotating.
Can't lie, it my go-to for sports & field. The weakest part of the store is shoes, in my opinion. For hunting, Cabellas has more, but they should.
