I feel like I really lucked out getting Dean Johnson as my client advisor in the purchase of my car. It was feeling very anxious buying a car sight unseen, but Dean was able to help me through that. He provided me with videos of the cars interior and exterior, reported his findings after a test drive, answered all of my many questions and at the end of the process I felt good about my purchase. He represented Onyx in such a positive light. I will definitely refer friends and family to their site in the future.

Worst place to buy a vehicle! I've bought multiple vehicles from Onyx. Unfortunately Onyx lets their greed take top priority. They will charge above sticker for their cars and tell you it's for the "extras" you are getting. They make you buy the ceramic coating which they charge $6150 and you can get done for under $1000. They charge you $4350 for the chip guard which is $500 if you go and get it done yourself. Then they tint the front two windows and charge you $500 which once again you can get done for a fraction of the cost. These are not optional items, you have to pay for these if you want the car. They also make you pay $2995 for a carwash and maintenance package. When I bought my car they told me every Land Rover dealer would only be receiving one because it was an anniversary edition. I bought the car because I like to have rare/different things. When I walked in the dealership a couple weeks ago I saw another one sitting on the showroom floor. Now I'm being told every dealer will be receiving two of them. It's a shame when a dealer has to lie to you to sell a car. So once I found out there wasn't going to be only one per dealer I started looking around to trade it. I went to another H&H store because I've thought I'd have the best luck with that since they own Onyx. When they submitted the car in for a trade number Onyx came back $25,000 less than what I paid 2 months ago while in the mean time they are still asking 11k over for the ones in their showroom. I would recommend calling other Land Rover dealers. You ARE able to buy Land Rovers out of state and there are dealers that do sell at MSRP. Stay clear of Onyx and the H&H group.

My purchase experience went very smoothly. Jason is knowledgeable and professional. Both he and the car were ready when I arrived. The negotiations process was a bit more of an old-school back and forth haggling process which is undesirable, but this is a reflection of the dealership, not him. He was very polite and professional throughout the process. I can't think of anything to improve upon and would recommend him to friends and family. The facility itself is also beautiful and everybody there was excessively polite. They are an hour away from me and I have a dealership local to me, but I will travel to them for service just due to the positive reception I received by everybody there and due to how nice the facility is.

What started as a very pleasant interaction with their service department ended in total disappointment. They never even tried to redeem there error by simply contacting me, offering an apology or absorbing my expenses caused by their errors. Here's what occurred:My battery was fine upon drop off. One week later I came to pick up after having a few repairs done. The porter tells me, "your battery is dead let me jump start it for you". I talked to the one service rep on duty and he says "I know nothing about it". He drove it around and checked it on their meter. He says "it's slow to start but it'll be fine". I told him I have several stops to make on my 3hr drive home. Needless to say I stopped for gas just north of Lincoln and it would not start back up...it was completely dead. I had to buy a set of cables and find someone to jump start my car. Due to this situation, I had to cancel all my stops for picking up necessities. Once home, I put the battery on the charger for several hours. The battery was so drained by the lack of attention to prevent this from happening in the first place, that I now have to replace it. I did message Chett (my service rep) about this. The only response from him was a text wanting to know if I was satisfied?!! Total lack of concern and incompetency is my experience.

Getting the opportunity to work with Jadyn was fantastic! He was able to arrange a shuttle to & from the BMW Center so I could drop my car off for service, then pick it up after work. I was informed of everything my car needed and how the process was going throughout the day. He also made sure my car was washed and ready for me to take it home. I'm so glad Jadyn was available to assist me with my Service needs, and he just tells the greatest jokes! I look forward to working with him again in the future!!

I've been driving a Mini Cooper since 2008, and have seen many changes to our local dealership over the years. Onyx is a cut above the rest.My sales guy Jared was able to find me my white whale, a manual transmission Mini 2 door hardtop with all the options. He got me out of my lease a few months early, and had me down the road in perhaps the easiest dealership experience I've ever had.George, my finance guy was also wonderful. We went over my lease agreement and available options in plain english, and he made sure I knew what to expect. Later, when there was cause to re-do some of the paperwork, he was able to use Docusign, so I never had to leave the comfort of home to complete the new paperwork. Very convenient!Last but certainly not least, their service department is amazing. Vince, the Mini service writer I most often work with, is wonderful. He remembers me every time I come out with something new. (Potholes ate 6 of my tires a couple years back. I was in there what felt like monthly having one or two replaced!). He's bent over backwards to make sure I have a good experience and leave happy.I'm extremely brand loyal to Mini, and I'm very glad that the local dealership represents the brand so well. I can't recommend Onyx enough.
