Ordered a 4 lb Prime Rib Roast at $150.00 cost. It was some of the worst prime rib I have ever had and this should be top quality like they claim. The claim is false. In the middle of the roast was a sinew laced inside.....not fat.....sinew. Had to get an electric carving knife with serrated blade to hack thru it. Hardly any taste. All four people at our dinner were disappointed in the meat. It was tough as well. Won't be ordering from this meat factory again. For $37.50 per pound, I expected more and not a roast that should actually be priced $5.00-$8.00 lb.Good luck on your purchase if you're dumb enough to do it. Go to other meat companies.

First time user of Omaha steaks for the holidays and was very disappointed. I know it’s simple heat up in the oven convenience but the flavors the food wasn’t very tasty and we should’ve just gone out for Chinese food on Christmas instead of spending over $150. At least I can cross off the old bucket list. I tried Omaha steaks and I’m sorry, but it’s overrated and not very good.

Great products, expensive, but they trick you with the "FREE SHIPPING AND GIFT ON ORDERS OVER $159." You think, okay, I'll get $140 for my gift recipient and a pack of steaks for myself to put me over. Uh uh. It does not work that way. One address is one cart. The other address is another cart. So you have to spend $159 or more to ONE shipping address and you can't split the total. Pretty sneaky. So They lose $50 right there, because I cut myself out of the loop.Pretty Sneaky with the "Free" thing, Omaha. I don't really appreciate that, because you lose a sale and I lose a great product. The $159 should apply for ONE CART even if it's split to multiple addresses. You would get more business that way. So two stars only for the great product, and three stars lost for the ripoff tricky advertising gimmick.

Placed an order via phone, there was an issue with my debit card that I corrected immediately with a text to my bank. My account reflected a charge and a credit. Called back 2 days later to check in my order, was told by someone who I had difficulty understanding that my order was fine, my card would be debited when the order was shipped and I could expect the order to arrive on Christmas Eve. Called today, Christmas Eve, order never was placed and of course it won’t be delivered on Christmas Eve. Customer service rep could not explain what happened, no record of my phone call to check on my order. Friends and family coming over for dinner tonight now I have to go shopping on Christmas Eve.
