The front office team was super friendly and quick. Dr. Morrison was knowledgeable, kind, funny and made my son feel at ease, not so much like a "patient"; he talked to him like a human and related to him with sports stats and high-school sports in general. I appreciated the way he talked directly to him and listened when he answered. He was conscious of our deductible and helpful in finding ways to save us money in order to get the answers we need for treatment/recovery of an injury.

Everything about my visit was terrible; I should have walked out when I got there. Terrible first impression with the receptionist. She was being rude because I lost my wallet but had pictures of the things she needed; license and insurance. She couldn’t figure out the computer to “make the pictures work.” After an hour of sitting in the lobby, I finally got to see the doctor. What a joke; he was just as bad as the receptionist. He basically accused me of “doctor shopping” Sir please, do you think I like wasting my time and money on doctors? I care about my health and wellbeing (which I thought doctors did also) but silly me. I wouldn’t be in this situation if doctors would actually listen to the patient.

Dr. Cimino was fantastic. I was under 21, and no one else believed that there was a problem since nothing had shown on any of my tests/scans over the last 8 years and I was "too young for knee problems". He was the first doctor to agree to go in and take a look. Dr.Cimino found that I had shattered the cartilage behind my knee cap and fixed it right up. Years later and still no issues!

I had an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon at Omaha Orthopedic off of 117th and West Center Road. The building is visible from the main road and parking is available all around the building. Check in was relatively easy and the wait time was reasonable, both in the waiting area and in the exam room. X rays were needed and performed on site. The staff from the nurse to the receptionist were very professional. I was really pleased with the medical providers and knowledge. I highly recommend this medical facility for your orthopedic issues.

I have been running for about 5 years, but recently developed a strange injury that has been plaguing me for about 3 months now. It causes me to have an odd walking and running gait, and makes my left leg feel very unstable. This affects me at all times, even slow walking around the house. I basically hobble around. This morning, I was able to get an audible pop from my knee with some adjustment that may have provided some relief, but I really have no idea what's wrong with it.Hoping that a professional could shed some light on what was going on with me, I made an appointment at Omaha Orthopedic Clinic & Sports Medicine. The doctor saw me for what must have been a total of 5 minutes. He did not ask me any questions about how long I had been training, what exercise I was doing, or any other information that I would think would be pertinent. I found that odd. He instructed me to take 12 Ibuprofen a day (he said something about the maximum dose) and just to deal with it and keep running because there was nothing medically wrong with me. He told me that muscle soreness was normal (as if I had never run or exercised before in my life and was unaware of this). He didn't write down or print out his prescribed treatment plan for me, so I don't actually have any proof or record of it. Before I could ask any of the questions I had for him, he had already left room. Not only did he never ask me if I had any questions, which seems like bad practice in general, there wasn't even an opportunity for me to even insert a question into the conversation because of the way he continued to talk as he walked out of the room and closed the door. There was zero opportunity without just starting to talk over him (he was talking about cortisone shots).Desperate for relief, I actually attempted to do what he said and started taking Ibuprofen and continued my training plan. It seemed like very rudimentary advice, but I was hoping maybe it was actually that simple. Perhaps obviously, that has not gone well. It's been one week since I started his informally prescribed treatment plan, and my leg is now worse than it has ever been. There isn't a doubt in my mind that there is something seriously wrong. I feel like there is a fluid build-up behind my knee almost, with a persistent burning sensation. Clearly something is torn or strained, and at this point I will just have to rest and let it heal. All said and done, I wouldn't waste my time with this place if you're looking for evidence-based information about your injury. I received the most basic, common sense advice that you could get from any person you ask on the street, "Try taking some over the counter anti-inflammatories." I don't have a lot of confidence in the medical establishment because of countless experiences similar to this one. That being said, this experience exceeded even my already low expectations.

After years of pain went in to see about ankle surgery. I was told my ankle is shot and i need to go somewhere were there are resident DR to have my ankle fused . Okay I can understand that however when I asked for a specific name of another DR they would recommend He said just call the hospital up and make a appointment. When i asked about dealing with the chronic pain that is getting more and more impossible to endure he told me to take extra strength Tylanol 4 times a day and 2 Advil 3 times a day with a snack. After taking that is he gonna refer me to a liver DR !!?? I asked if he could share with my Primary DR what he told me and he said why? I said because they would like to be in the loop during this. .Mind you i paid a 75$ copay .In all they will be paid 250$ minimum. am sure they are going to tack on x ray and anything else they can .Very very very disappointed. Its bad enough to have to be in this situation but when you cant even go to a specialist and have them care enough to even point you in a legitimate direction I was literally heart broken when I left there. Now the more I think about it the angrier I'm getting. I can't believe I let him treat me like that. BTW this review is about my experience with DR Michael Morrison.

Dr. Morrison rocks! He did a visco-supplementation injection in both my knees and my pain and stiffness in both knees is gone within 24 hours. Amazing!
