Omaha Animal Hospital is great. They always care for and have concern for my dog the same way I do. It’s always easy getting in and out for yearly vaccines. They offer deals on a couple things (dental and heartworm) but are never pushy about it just offering.

They are the only vets I would have taken care of my dogs. I drive from 120th & Dodge to see them! Very considerate of their patients, they explain things well, very considerate of my concerns as well.

I took my cat here today and they did a good job diagnosing him. However, pricing should be transparent and agreed upon. By the time we got to the front desk to pay, the price that was initially agreed upon nearly doubled. I feel any additional costs should be discussed prior to doing work, whatever the amount is. Don't let this place sneak money out of you; discuss everything in detail before they provide any work on your pet.
Update: Initially gave them 2 stars, because of reasons listed above. Went back today for a follow-up appointment, because they said they could waive fees. Diagnosed my cat again, and his numbers were looking better, probably because he gained an appetite after the first visit. They were very apologetic about the way the first visit went, and waived a couple fees on this visit. I appreciated their understanding and willingness to make things right. I will keep them as a vet option moving forward.

We took our cat in for an exam, were told it'd be $175 and then at the desk to pay were forced to pay $338. They attempted to charge us $398 but when we questioned them they did us the "favor" of reducing it by 60. They smiled wished us a "nice day" as they ripped us off. They'll say it was miscommunication, but it was hustle.
UPDATE: We took our cat back, received an apology and discounted rates. We appreciate their making it right.

Everyone there was very helpful and very kind. I have a, well let's say, odd little dog and some people just don't take to her. But they did. And they treated her like a little princess. The doctor and the tech were very knowledgeable and considerate.

I really felt uncomfortable here. The Vet had absolutely no compassion for my senior dog. Called my dog "ancient" and said she's probably not going to live long. I would maybe expect that response if she was ill but, she wasn't! Definitely search elsewhere for a Vet that understands that your pet is family and not some animal off the street.

Dr. Luke and his staff are great. I have been going there with my dogs for five years and they have treated them in good times and bad. I know I can trust their care for my pets.
