I purchased a Chamberlain garage door opener (with battery backup, external keypad, myQ connectivity) as well as a mounting kit from Menards. After looking at the instructions and at my garage door (no previous opener), I decided to hire a professional. Norm’s door service responded to my inquiry and provided a flat rate. Other contractors had higher prices and/or a hourly rate which I thought would lead to a higher price. I had used Norms at a prior residence and trusted them to be on time, provide experienced service, and clean afterwards. They did what i expected, and helped me set up the keypad code and myQ app. Total time was close to 2 hours, and included provision of new mounting materials since the set from Menards was too small for the space in my garage. I’d happily use Norms again for new installation or service for an existing door.

Our garage door broke unexpectedly, we called Norms door service. They were very friendly and professional,after I gave them the details Norms sent out very polite and professional tech named Rene. He had analyzed we had a broken spring and promptly repaired them despite poor weather conditions. The whole job took approximately 3 hrs.We are very impressed with the promt and professional service. Thank you Rene,and thank you Norms,helped us out of a bad situation.

Very knowledgeable and had necessary parts when he showed up. Would liked to have received an invoice for the repair but other than that excellent job. Absolutely no issues with replacement of opener. Technician was GREAT! Less than 1 1/2 hours. Very professional.

I had a broken spring, but when the spring broke and the door crashed down, it busted the top panel and I thought I was gonna have to replace the entire top panel of the door a norm's door has a special metal adapter bracket that restraints the door and it was 50 bucks extra. Instead of 800 for a new panel.

I was able to call and set up an appointment for the next day after the cable snapped on my door. The technician came out during the specified time range, replaced both cables, tested the cables several times, and we were good! Technician was knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!
