I gave them a 4 stars because I did the packing. They just loaded the truck. However, the job was well done. My items were delivered on time and in good condition. The price a little expensive, but the job was well done. I moved from Nebraska to Illinois. Love it

Wonderful bunch of people! Had a great experience from the moment I called to check on our move date to after they left. The ladies they sent to pack our household were nice, efficient, and professional. The guys they sent to load up all the boxes and furniture were super nice and helpful. They didn’t bat an eyelash at me reminding them of some hidden outdoor items. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I just had to rave on how great these people are. Would definitely move with them again!

We moved into a temporary residence in January 2019 and these guys were awesome. Moving Made Smooth was my first and only call to have someone relocate us to our home on 1 August; they did not disappoint. Corey and crew worked diligently to move our belongings, stage them in the right areas, and then get us unpacked. They had a good move plan and were careful with our items. Despite our job taking them into overtime, they knew it was important to us and focused on getting the job done. They didn't leave until we were satisfied. I'd recommend this company to anyone!

7/6/19...TOTAL WORK TIME: 1 HOUR 15 MINUTES= $240. Movers were 9 minutes late, took a "smoke break (6 minutes)" less than an hour after they arrived, they left 30 minutes early & I still paid full price AND tipped them $20!!! I did NOT EXPECT TO STILL BE DEALING WITH THIS A WEEK LATER!! My main problem is with the owner, he is uncooperative and unprofessional. Movers damaged my furniture and I caught them when they did it... I CALLED THEM DOWN, ALSO! Ken (owner) told me he would send a form to fill out, he did not. He insulted me and told me, "they said your furniture was not in all that great of shape in the first place". 7/12/19 4:14 pm I have been calling over a 5 day span (4 TIMES RECORDED) and waiting for an insurance claim form. Today I called and said I was upset with this situation. 7/12/19 4:43 pm Ken (owner, Manager, president, whoever) called and yelled at me for 8 minutes and 30 seconds, about leaving this review. He said his lawyer was pissed and I would be getting paperwork about defaming him. He was also making excuses for the movers being in 100 plus temperatures that day. According to Accu Weather, the high was 84 that day. He said he would call me tomorrow morning (7/13/19) "when he cools down", that he had been mad since he read my review. Mobile phone was on speaker phone and I do have a witness. 7/13/19. 11:34 am I HAD TO CALL AND LEAVE KEN A MESSAGE BECAUSE, AS USUAL, NO CALL FROM HIM. He did call (11:42am 7/13/2019)and tell me he was sending the insurance claim form. 7/13/19 12:42 PM recieved instructions on how to proceed with 1st step. INSURANCE CLAIM IS THE 6TH STEP, so I may be dealing with this for another 2 months. I Sent photos of furniture and building damage, as requested.

LOVE THIS COMPANY! I needed to move from a one bedroom to a two bedroom, and after moving over the past 21+ years being a military brat, this move was the MOST efficient; ever! The two guys who showed up are professional, punctual (major plus with me!), focused, and ready. All I had to do was pack, label, rent the UHaul and within the two hour window I reserved them, success! I will definitely be using them again and I highly recommend them; for big or small!

I gave 3 stars because of not having communication until after the deliver date was past due. After my delivery was past due I REACHED out to my coordinator to see what was taking so long. I feel if I did not reach out he would not of called me. My experience was great with Josh MacCallum, he answered all of my questions and concerns about using a long distance moving company. Josh was understanding about my moving needs and knew I possibly would not be there during pick up day and he worked with my mom who was helping me coordinate the move out of Omaha. The guys who picked up and loaded the truck all were great they protected the carpets and only kept the dolly's on the protected carpeted areas. Sorry guys I do not remember your names. Ron Reed was the coordinator he seemed nice and kept me informed about pick up day after that I did not hear from him until I reached out to see when I would get delivery. I left a message with Ron in the morning and did not get a return call back, I called again at the end of the work day and finally was able to talk with him. I asked what the hold up was and he said they forgot about my delivery. Granted my delivery would take place between Christmas and New Year. He said that he is trying to coordinate a way to get the delivery soon with the Louisville, KY office. He said he would call or email me the next day. I did receive an email stating he is still working on the coordination, I did get a phone call later that day saying he thinks the delivery will be the following week. I asked him again what was the hold up and he said they could not get the coordination of other people moving in my direction and I said "so you did not forget about me" and he said "No they just could not get the coordination". I feel if the company was not getting a coordination to get my delivery by the date they stated in the contract I should of received a phone call before the due date. In the end I did receive my delivery of furniture 10 days late which cost the company $1000. Only if I had more communication I would of given more stars instead of 3.

I've been working with Wink Smith & his team for every move I've made over the last 15 years. Not only are they professional and reliable, they're easy to work with and, across the board, incredibly kind and friendly. My things arrived in excellent shape and in a timely fashion. Wink went out of his way to make my move easy as it could be, and I knew my drivers from years ago--they feel like family, because they basically are. Moving is stressful--and, at the risk of sounding cheesy, Select really makes it easier.

I've worked with Mayflower a few times and have had okay service until my most recent visit. Went to pick up some of my contents from their warehouse and saw a completely unorganized shop of different peoples contents which is concerning because contents can easily get mixed up between families. What was the most appalling part about my visit was with Matt one of the the sales associates. He directed me to back up to a loading ramp over a pile of debris and I got a nail in a $400 tire because they are too lazy to clean their yard and did not get any apology or compensation after driving over their trash. All I got was a shoulder shrug. I would recommend using "Fire Fighters on the Move" for all moving around the Omaha Metro. Much better service from people that care about their customers.
