Insanely expensive for mediocre care. OPS has a much better system where you pay when you go. The amount they charge to “watch” school age kids before/after school is outrageous! And consolidation days are also double the price of OPS. A public school foundation shouldn’t be allowed to charge this astronomical large amounts for a few hours of child care!

I cannot say enough Amazing things about Ackerman Kids Net. The staff Laura , Sam, Erica, Jennifer, Gary etc. are the most amazing people ever my kids love waking up every morning knowing they get to go to kids net to start their day. The staff helps with homework if your child needs help they don't yell at them they show the absolute best intrest in your child at all times. When i have to pick my kids up at the end of the day they hate leaving because Ackerman Kids net staff makes their morning/afternoon enjoyable, They play with the kids and are just great. I would recommend kids net at Ackerman to any family looking for a before and after school program. My son struggled the first half of last year in school after he got put in kids net his grades came up and it was all because sam and erica helped him so much understanding his work like i couldn't. Thank you Ackerman Staff!! You guys ROCK

As a parent who has used the services of the the Millard Public Schools Foundation, I cannot reccomend that anyone use this business/organization. The Millard Public Schools Foundation is supposed to be an organization that wants to help educate children and provide quality services to the community it serves, but unfortunately it is far from that. The MPS Foundation's main concern is MAKING money, not serving families. Yes, I do understand that a foundation needs to make money in order to provide certain services and most foundations that make money reinvest that money back into their programs, this foundation does not do that. The MPS Foundation is constantly asking their employees to donate money to them, and when they do not get 100% participation from their employees they belittle them and try to make them feel guilty for not donating. The MPS Foundation runs the before and after school program Kids Net and it has an Early Childhood Center as well. The foundation charges quite a bit of money in order for a child to attend one of their programs, and I will admit their prices are in line with the rest of the area, however, it is still very expensive to send your child to either one of these programs and the Foundation continually asks parents to donate money to them to pay for things they claim they cannot afford, such as "security" cameras for their early childhood center. They also charge parents ridiculous registration fees, curriculum fees, and whatever other fees they feel like making up at the time of service. One time, I was four minutes late picking up my child from Kids Network and they charged me $20 for being late. I understand that I was late, and I don't mind paying a small fee, but $20 for less than 5 minutes is ridiculous and when I called them to dicuss it, they were extremely rude and would not even let me tell them why I was late. I understand that they probably get a lot of sob stories about people being late and not wanting to pay fees, but if they would have taken the time to look at my record, they would have seen that this was my first and only time that I had ever been late picking up my child. I have since taken my child out of their program and my child coincidently said that he is much happier now that he does not have to go there anymore.I do not recommend this business to anyone. If you are thinking about taking your child to one of their programs, please do your research first!
