John did a fantastic job.... I had a tough year, worked part of the year then lost my job, had unemployment coming in the.got a contract gig, and then got hired on permanent. In addition, my wife and I had a couple of side hustles that had a bit of money coming in, but had some write offs as well. With all of that going on, I was not inclined to use a program to try and get all of that done correctly, so we reached out to Midwest for help. It was quick and relatively possible....John took about 45 minutes, then followed up on a few things. By the end of the week, our taxes were complete and we actually had a decent refund coming from both state and federal, and his fee was quite reasonable. Is you don't want to do your own taxes, check out midwest accounting, they helped us, maybe they can help you too.

Did my taxes here last year. Nothing special just a couple different W2s but we did have two different states. We do not own a business and only have one son. The guy seemed nice enough and was chatting it up the whole time, we thought he was very nice until he charged us $600!!!!!! Never in my life!!!! I don't know why but my husband reviewed him and he gave us $200 back. We still paid $400!!!! RIDICULOUS. We have never paid more than $250. We should've refused to pay but guess we got suckered. So I go to do our taxes this year and tell the lady what happened, she said that was a crazy amount and that should've never happened. She looked through our taxes from last year and said he printed off a ton of garbage papers just to make it look like he did a lot. I know I'm just getting around to the review but I tried to put this horrible experience out of my mind until I saw my review needed to be finished. SO TO ALL OF MY FELLOW YELPERS, Beware and do not step foot in this office!.

Just started my tax process and John was the only one who was available and open to help me out. He was quick and efficient. Got straight to work and I didn’t have to be in for more than 1 hour. Definitely coming back. Great service!

I worked here for 4 months and so glad to be gone from that toxic environment. Their turnover is through the roof and on day 3 I figured out why. The management here belittles you daily and the micromanagement is unbearable. Pick a different firm. They are subpar to their customers as well.

My parents have been going here almost 30 years, and myself 20. John is a very helpful resource, detailed, and patient when it comes to explain how the system works. I just started an LLC, and he gave me a great overview for how my taxes will change going forward. I highly recommend to anyone needing personal or business taxes done.

I emailed Tony with a huge tax problem several years ago....he called me immediately and between him and Adrian Thompson they have got me on the right track. Tony knows so much about the IRS and tax laws - blew me away!! They are very dedicated to helping folks and always look for ways to make the tax laws work for us! I would highly recommend him for any business that wants to abide by the law but not get taken advantage of.
