A really incredible and moving historical site. If you time things out right you can get a tour of the museum and the property and get an in-depth understanding of Malcolm X's life and his role in the civil rights movement. I learned so much from just an hour there. I cannot recommend a visit more.

It is a shame how the city of Omaha, and the state of Nebraska has disrespected the legacy of one of America's greatest icons. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, but it was shocking that it's not a better funded, more recognized foundation and facility. We cannot let this history be buried. This was a both Informative and moving experience. Shamika Simpson was knowledgeable and passionate about Malcolm X and his beliefs. I walked away with a deeper respect and understanding for Malcolm X and admiration for the work the foundation is doing. It’s past time Nebraska included Malcom X in its Hall of fame.

I recently visited this space and was warmly welcomed by a young lady who singularly sat at the front table. She gave us a tour and even took pics on her camera after my camera died. The space is a space for dreamers who see a vision of the end-goal. There’s a greenhouse in the shape of a shotgun house that was obstructed and donated to the center. It’s a safe space for members of the community to share their narratives. I’ll be donating monthly to their efforts. I hope you do too.

Really enjoyed this place, very informative. Amazing story of how it started and what it took to get to it's current point. This place seems to be in the process of improving even more, Brother Malcolm would be proud. Hope to return in future to see the new changes.
